I agree that the washed up veteran approach to finding a corner is dumb. That's why I like going after Jackson. Just 26 years old with just ridiculous speed. I think he fits in really well here. There are still a bunch of corners on the markets, so they may be waiting for wave 2. What is actually going to happen? They will talk up Dane Jackson as a starter and how they will use Siran Neal on the outside a bit and then they will draft a corner in the first round.

Grant is better than McKenzie. Would have preferred him. I know people get mad, but it is what it is. Grant just has that vision on returns.

Chandler Jones DE Donte Jackson CB Akiem Hicks DT Could all technically be added to the roster as they have not signed anywhere as of yet. Hicks probably only makes sense if they plan on cutting Star. But I suppose he could still fit. I am holding out hope for Jones. On the defensive end side, outside of Jones I have mentioned I like Dorance Armstrong. He is still very young and really long and athletic. He has done some cool stuff for the Cowboys rushing inside and outside. So there is that versatility. But he doesn't move the needle the way Jones does. Jones gives this D an interesting identity and boost.

I bet the Watson thing is holding a bunch of things up. Once that decision is made, I think we see a mini flurry of things.

Honestly it doesn’t matter. It is a sunk cost and he is a free agent at the end of this season. He has regressed every year and if he has a good year, you would just have to pay him. So I prefer to put chips in on Bates, who is just a couple of months older than Ford.

I think Epenesa is a 3-4 5 tech end. He just doesn’t have any burst or bend. I wonder if there is a trade to be had with a team that is switching from a 4-3 to a 3-4 like the Vikings.

He should go the Falcons, play with Kyle Pitts, go back to Georgia where the fans will probably be most liekely to accept him. At the same time, the Panthers owner has been obsessed with him for a couple of years now, so he knows he is truly wanted there.

I dunno. I thought those five games that Brian Hoyer played lights out were something. Then he returned to reality after getting hurt. Plus there was the Kelly Holcomb playoff heroics.

Ugh can’t stand him and hated him draft time. Little tiny whiny QB with his Napoleon complex. Weird how this is so similar to Kyler Murray’s PMS statement. How can you even face teammates new or old with this bs? I can not emphasize anymore how happy I am to have Josh Allen.

I am guessing they are aiming higher. Either through the draft or free agency. Honestly it is the perfect time to draft one in the first round who you have cheap for 4 years plus the option.

I wonder if they might look at Adam Humpries again. They really liked him in free agency and few years ago and missed out. There are also a few big names out there like Allen Robinson, Jarvis Landry.

Jones Armstrong Key in that order for me. Obviously Von Miller or a trade would be great, but those are three targets who make a lot of sense. Jones is by far the best option, also the most expensive.

I gotcha. Yeah I think they are essentially the same player, McKinnon more speed, McKissic probably the better runner. But both good receivers. I suppose, since McKissic has been super productive with terrible QBs his stats are a bit inflated from all the check down stuff. That’ my assumption, but thankfully i have not seen many Lions or WTF games.

I just like the speed numbers. I have always liked him. Good with McKissic as well.

I feel like Dane Jackson gave us a similar level of ability. I think it was time to move on from guys like Harry and Levi.

A funny accidental legend on these boards, McKissic definitely adds a dynamic to the offense and will play well with Singletary. I have been banging the table for this type of player I wanted McKinnon, but good with McKissic. He can really ball. He doesn’t have the speed of a Breida, but he is a much, much better football player.

It was a nice story and he was ok. But we need speed. Bring me Donte Jackson

Shula is a good coach and good voice to have around for a young OC and young QB coach. I like it.

I would still be all over James Daniels to play RG at this juncture. I really like his upside, and while I like Ryan Bates a lot, low tendering him tells me that maybe they aren't completely sold yet. But we shall see.

I like what they are doing on the interior. Still need and end. Young and hungry? Dorance Armstrong who they really liked pre-draft. Maybe Arden Key.? Trade Tremaine for Bradley Chubb and sign Myles Jack? LVE? Anthony Walker Jr.?

That Leonard Williams trade and subsequent signing was just really short sighted. And the Kenny Golladay thing was really bad. Bradberry has been good, but still kind of overpaid. At the end of the day the biggest mistake they made was passing on Josh.

Yeah he seems a little light for that. I guess he could play a 3-4 end, but those guys usually have more length. It is a weird fit, but nice for a new coach establishing culture. For me, he will not be missed, especially at that price.
