If they picked Najee or Etienne, it would have been a very bad decision on both counts as they would not have Rousseau. This is the Josh Allen team. Any running back is only going to account for a small portion of the offense unless they can catch the ball like an Etienne or McCaffrey. This isn't ground and pound and that is why I think it would be a bad decision and why I don't think they go there first round, unless Hall is far and away the BPA on the board.

I am happy we still have our picks. Watching the Bills play last season, I never got the sense that it was our year. Now, it is starting to feel like this team is being set up to take that next step.

They also added Connor Williams, but their offensive line is going to blow. Outside of Williams, none of the guys they have been drafting the last few years really fit the stretch zone running offense. Never draft linemen high except for elite left tackles. Dolphins do this and they still suck.

I really like McDuffie. In terms of free agency, there are still a ton of guys out there. My best guess is that the guys who are not signed yet want too much money in a year when the corner class is very strong. Once some of these prices come down, they will sign. I have made no bones about it, but I like Donte Jackson. I also like Mackenzie Alexander. Veteran wise, Patrick Pederson would be cool. Never been a Joe Haden guy, but I am not totally against it.

They won't do it. I mean I highly doubt it. I wonder if the Etienne rumors were really true, because that move would have been a disaster. If they make no other moves this offseason, I would think they are drafting a corner or IOL, maybe wide receiver. But if Jordan Davis makes it down, or one of the ends, I am still taking them.

He can do a lot of things. Early in his career he played a lot of 4-3 off the ball sam and a bunch of over and under (which is essentially a 3-4 OLB alignment). McDermott used to play a ton of 4-3 under in Carolina but has not shown a ton of it here. In 4-2-5 Von is a defensive end. He’s going to pin back and rush the passer, from the right or the left side.

This is the answer. Beane has been pretty fiscally responsible. We will be fine and got the type if impact pass rusher we have not had since Marion Williams in a 4-3
