I feel like it's going to be WR, DL, or an outside chance of a DB like Arnold or DeJean.

Who should the Bills draft at #58? - TSW Mock Draft 2.0
MrEpsYtown replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall
All great points! I think Thomas is in his own tier. Then Mitchell and Worthy. 1: MHJ, Nabers, Odunze 2: Thomas 3: Mitchell, Worthy 4: Leggette, McConkey, Franklin, Coleman - (these feel like back end round 1 early round two) 5: Walker, Polk, Pearsall, Burton, Wilson, Baker etc etc. (late two and beyond) I think if you want Thomas it's probably a trade-up. Then it's whatever your flavor is. I do think Mitchell and Worthy are first-rounders. I don't love Worthy, but there is no way the NFL brain trust is going to let the fastest player ever go in round two. I think we are going to have our pick between tier 3-4. -

Virgil said it a couple of times but this was version 2. AD Mitchell won the vote in V1 and in V2 until we took him off the board. So if you like AD Mitchell, it looks like we are in good shape. This was an alternative exercise, and if AD Mitchell is gone or the Bills don't like him, this is how it may actually play out, though they will probably just take Franklin at 28 and would not trade down for the extra third-rounder. I'm in the trade-up for Thomas or just draft Mitchell camp. But if you want a difference-making receiver and you don't like AD Mitchell, I think you have to try to trade up. -

I like Paul better just because he is more polished and experienced. Paul also has a brother in the NFL..I just think it is going to be a smooth transition for him especially because of his pass-blocking acumen. The measurables are very similar. I like both as pure LTs...I feel like the BYU kid is a guard. -

We actually moved up two picks here. This gives us an idea of what is available at 60. If we wait on a WR it’s like polk, Tez Walker and Roman Wilson left. If up wait for OL, DL whatever, it’s pretty slim. This is a weak draft. -

Nubin is the best fit for our defense IMO. After him I actually really like Jaden Hicks. He does all the things we ask our safeties to do and I really like the ball skills and IQ. 2nd round feels too early. -

I do like Booker. He is 100% boom or bust but he does one thing well and that is get to the QB. I would take his upside and length over a bunch of the edge guys in this draft. -

It is not easy to keep track of. I can’t imagine how pressure packed it is in real life -

Yepa 3 tech who is a penetrating 1 gap player. Like Oliver he is undersized, not as explosive, but he makes plays and is very good with his hands. He’s gone -

I went Hall, he is a really good fit. Otherwise I would have gone Patrick Paul. I think he is much better than the BYU tackle. JMO -
Yep was hoping he got to 60 but also thought there was no way he got passed the Eagles. And here we are.

Looks like Guyton went at 31

I would totally do it for the 2 we got for Diggs, plus some later draft picks.

It’s roughly 80 points on the chart. A 4 and a 5. -
TSW 2.0 Poll - Who should the Bills draft at 41?

I suppose we could try to trade up from 58 into the 45 range. There is a cluster of defensive linemen still available at the moment. -
TSW 2.0 Poll - Who should the Bills draft at 41?

Franklin and Coleman are so different to me. I picked Franklin because I can visualize him making a lot of plays in our offense. With Coleman I visualize like a better Gabe Davis, which to me is probably not enough. But I like them both. -
Seems like a 3-4 guy to me, but he is versatile
-
I think that’s the point though. The board here is very split. I’m sure the Bills have a specific target in mind in the real world. But for the purpose of this excercise and the way this thing is playing out the options seem to be: 1. Huge trade up for one of the big 3 2. Smaller trade up for Thomas 3. Sit tight or tiny trade up for AD Mitchell 4. if Thomas is gone and they don’t like Mitchell it makes sense to trade down. Mitchell would have won the vote again, but for this mock he was not an option. Thomas was gone, we could not take Mitchell and so it made sense to trade down imo.

I think the Raiders make a push. Pierce coached him at Arizona State. Recruited him. Their unrealistic dream is probably to pair Jayden Daniels with him.

Robinson was just announced as a draft attendee. Implies he may be a 1st round pick. You definitely crushed this draft.

Yeah I feel like they Will definitely go OL

Green Bay trades picks 41 (490), 58 (320), 88 (150) and 169 (24) to the Buffalo Bills for pick 28 (660) and 60 (320). With the 28th pick in the 2024 TSW mock draft 2.0 the Green Bay Packers select Troy Fautanu, OL, Washington This was the other guy I was considering at 25 if DeJean went before I made the pick. I saw this as a fair opportunity to move up and I still have a late second-rounder. The Packers like a particular type of offensive lineman who is athletic and versatile. I feel like Fautanu is a great fit for their scheme with his great feet, active hands, and length. Fautanu is also super versatile. He has a little Dion Dawkins-type vibe because he is on the shorter side, but he makes up for it with long arms and just tremendous feet. Even if he does wind up being "just a guard" he is going to be a dude and like the DeJean pick, he is virtually bust-proof. I also think the Fautanu is significantly better than what I thought was going to be available at 41. He is also very nasty. In this scenario, GB maintains a late second-round pick. I did not want to give up the 3rd rounder, but the Packers still have another 3rd and this move-up allows me to come away with two guys who, in reality, are top 15-20 picks. Side note, I chose Fautanu over Latham because Latham is more of a gap scheme player and is not the type of OL the Packers typically draft, though I also think he is going to be very good. Here is some OL stuff: This is a classic dancing bear. I am not a big PFF guy, but this says a lot: I love this player and fit. With that, @GunnerBill and the Detroit Lions are on the clock.
