  1. Marquan mcCall! Love that dude 6-3, 379 and he can move Likely is a good weapon in the RPO game. I like his upside. I like TY too!
  2. Jones has good traits. He was over drafted, thrown to the fire, and had some awful coaching. Where I kind of blame him, is that I fee like he could have corrected those flaws in the offseason. So I am curious to see where it goes. He is similar to Darnold in my mind. Rejecting the option makes a ton of sense, and you put the honus on him.
  3. I like to look back at those “way too early next year mock drafts” that everyone posts like the day after the draft. He was the projected first round tight end before the season. So its projection. Bills have shown interest and it is totally worth a late round shot.
  4. Is that on ESPNU or something?
  5. No problem! You just have to be patient, because they do rehash a lot, but then they circle back to highlights and analysis for guys who were picked while they were rehashing and interviewing people.
  6. Because he is a righty! Jesus was a lefty.
  7. Yep. He’s the best corner in the draft. Probably the best player.
  8. Unpopular opinion, but there has been a shift and ESPN coverage is better. Their highlights are better and they show highlights and analyze almost every pick over three days. I like Mel. He is like a savant in a weird way. He’s super awkward, but I like his analysis. Not a McShay guy. It was unbearable when Gruden was on. I love DJ and I really liked Mayock. But they skip over picks too much and sometimes just show the scroll at the bottom. ESPN does the scroll, but they always circle back and analyze the picks and show highlights. So I will watch NFLN a lot tonight, but will watch ESPN the other days because they actually talk about the picks and show highlights on days 2 and 3. The ABC feed is for people like my wife who like the stories and the stuff like that.
  9. I agree, but would add Stingley to the list to make it 4.
  10. It's the right move. If he is good all of a sudden from better coaching, you just franchise the dude.
  11. I just hope they come away with one of them somewhere in this draft.
  12. Totally. A 1st round receiver this year probably won't even play much. But serviceable running backs are easier to find. Serviceable wide receivers are not good enough. I think that is the difference, at least in my mind. And Kenneth walker looks like he was shot out of a cannon. Maybe it is because Hall is bigger. Big running backs look slow. Like, Freddy Jackson always looked slow to me, but he was running right by dudes.
  13. I get you. And I do like that Hall has break away speed and can catch the football. Then he can have more impact on the game. My place is that you can find guys like that outside of the first round. If Hall can impact the game getting 10-15 carries a game with 2-3 catches mixed in that's great. But is that worth a first is my question.
  14. To be fair, no one gets outside in the NFL. But I agree, I didn't like the pick because of lack of upside. i think he would excel in a Ravens top gap scheme offense. But again, you have to feed him carries for him to really impact the game.
  15. RAS for Singletary is so low because he is small and slow. Those two things will kill a score. Size has a big factor in those calculations, but speed is more important. he lacks in both those areas, so low score.
  16. I like the Tyler Smith spot. I think his floor might be the Saints' second pick.
  17. I think most of the list is garbage, but i think the biggest thing is the injury stuff. The only one who has "made it" and stayed healthy is Gordon really. But you are totally correct. Every year there are line 5 guys whose 5th year options re not picked up and some of those drafts were just complete garbage. At the end of the day, it probably all evens out. totally that 4.39 time
  18. Booth match makes so much sense. Nice work!
  19. Singletary to me needs volume to be good. he needs 15-25 carries. He needs to be fed and he doesn't do anything else for the offense if he isn't getting the ball. I think he is a very good player, but not the fit for what this offense is now. Neither is Moss. They should not be taking a back in the first round. But they should be looking for a complimentary piece who can catch the ball well. maybe that's James Cook or Rachaad White in round 3. Maybe it's Max Borghi in round 6-7. Maybe it's Jerick McKinnon on Monday But its should not be in round 1 imo.
  20. Even if you back to Singletary's draft year, Jacobs is very good from round one. David Montgomery, player for a terrible team, has stats that are neck and neck with Jacobs and he was a third rounder. The value just isn't there. Another interesting exercise is to look at how many first down running backs have their 5th year option picked up. I get that there are garbage picks at other positions in these drafts. But the value of a running back later in the draft is better. 2019 - I am guessing they pick up Jacobs. hasn't been announced. 2018 - Barkley grudgingly picked up. He's hurt a bunch. Rashaad Penny and Sony Michel declined. Michel has been traded already. 2017 - McCaffrey picked up. He's hurt a bunch. Fournette declined and he was cut. 2016 - Elliot picked up. Career winding down. Losing lots of carriers to a 4th round pick. 2015 - Todd Gurley extended. His career is over. Melvin Gordon picked up. Still rolling in Denver. Lost his job in San Diego to an UDFA. 2012 - Trent Richardson, no and he's done. Doug Martin, declined and retired. David Wilson retired in two years.
  21. Our pick is probably gonna be someone out of left field who no one is talking about, like Tyler Smith.
  22. Two picks I’d LOVE: 25 Trent McDuffie 57 Jalen Pitre Two picks I expect: 25 Andrew Booth 57 Damarvin Leal Two picks I’ll settle for: 25 Kaiir Elam 57 Tre McBride
  23. Agreed. That’s what should happen in that case! Or just take a guy like Ojabo who is a top 15 pick if he isn’t hurt and just redshirt him. RB round 1 feels like a waste.
  24. In his mock, I would have taken Booth. But really aside from Booth, all the corners are gone including Elam and all the receivers are gone including Burks and Dotson and there are no quarterback reaches. If that’s the case I think I would ok with the Hall idea. I really don’t love it, but I much prefer it to a guard or reaching on the next tier of corners.
  25. Yeah I know. A lot of people are acting like his word is truth. Not you dude. Didn’t mean for it to come off that way.
