  1. The Dolphins are talented. They have top ten picks all over their roster and a guy who is running Shanahhan’s offense. The beat us in a lot of the one on one situations, but that is not how you win a championship. I take issue with the boneheaded mistakes that happen too often this season to our Bills. But as long as we have Josh, we have a shot. I am glad the game was close. The Bills have to continue to prove that we can win these close games. If the game against the Bears is close, I will be concerned.
  2. If Morse winds up having issues the way easier fix is to move Bates to center and find a guard. But we need two because Saffold is very bad right now. He was jumping the snap count on almost every play because that is how bad his pass pro is. But Morse has been excellent so I hope he is okay. FA centers include Rodney Hudson, Connor McGovern, Garrett Bradbury, Scott Quessenberry (David’sbro). FA guards include Justin Pugh, Issac Seumalo, Wes Schweitzer, Eldgton Jenkins, Dalton Risner, Nate Davis, David Edwards (ram). In the short term they need to look at John Simpson. He visited the Ravens after clearing waivers. I have seen nothing else. He would be a nice fit adding youth and strength to that interior.
  3. That seems out of character for Mariota. His reputation has always been a pretty positive one so I find this kind of shocking. Perhaps there is more to the story.
  4. My issue with McKenzie was not so much the drops, though they were anger inducing, but on that drop on the sideline, CJ Mosely was hip to hip with him, basically running his route. If your are small and can't make contested catches, you better have some serious speed and route running ability and short area quickness and it just doesn't seem to be there this year. I have never been a huge fan,if only he could play against Miles Bryant every week. I would like to see some combination of Hynes and Cook take his reps, on the field at the same time. What Shannahan is doing with McCaffrey and Deebo in the backfield, slot and out wide, is what we should be trying to do with those guys. Without Daboll, the offense has lost some imagination.
  5. An interesting replacement could be John Simpson who the Raiders just released. I really don’t know what went down with the Raiders, but we were all over Simpson pre draft, and a lot of people were projecting him to us. High RAS player who is only 25 years old. Grabbing him now would be like having an extra draft pick.
  6. At the end of the day how do you replace him? He’s the premier free agent at the position. Anthony Walker? Lavonte David? Alex Anzalone? Within with guys like Klein or Dodson? There are a few interesting guys coming out, but then you are drafting for need. I think at the very least you franchise him. I think he stays for at least one more year.
  7. The 49ers are so good. Jimmy isn’t great. It doesn’t matter. They have a shot. He just can’t give the game away
  8. I agree on the rule. But it was still dumb of him to do it. They probably kick a field goal and win the game up by ten with two minutes left. Instead the game is tied now. Selfish and dumb. And he's terrible.
  9. I think once he is tagged he can’t negotiate with other teams. If he doesn't sign the tender by a certain deadline he has to sit out the year.
  10. He’s a free agent. You would have to tag him first if u wanted to trade him
  11. Jon Feliciano still sucks. And is an idiot, got just ridiculously stupid unsportsmanlike penalty. Cost his team.
  12. FA guard wise, he is probably in the top 5 or so available. His play has been up and down imo.
  13. It really would be amazing if the Texans beat the Browns. Eff that guy is right.
  14. Agreed, the receiver stuff is silly. I think with the way the O line has played, an argument could be made that Tyler Linderbaum or Tyler Smith should have been the pick there. Knowing what we know now about our safeties, I probably would have stayed put/traded down and taken Jalen Pitre or Jaquan Brisker.
  15. The Tenuta thing felt like a favor to his dad, like Austin Proehl. But his athleticism is close to Cody Fords as well. But yeah this guy seems on par with what they are looking for and I speculate that this is the spot that would have gone to Tanner Owen and his 9.88 RAS if he wasn’t claimed.
  16. We have a type!
  17. Well I don’t care, but the powers that be have shown an affinty for lefties, Bojorquez, Haack and Araiza and they actually pursued Parlady before.
  18. This is the correct answer imo. Kern or Huber seem very likely. Stonehouse you might have to trade for since he is subject to waivers. Same as Crisman. Huber is the only lefty in the group. Palardy is the only lefty in the others group. How about Dicker? Or is it too soon?
  19. Absolutely! I like him more than most. There some interesting upside there for a guy that big with his athletic testing.
  20. Tommy Doyle working inside at guard. I mentioned it as a possibility in February. The more you can do for versatility the better. He could become a very valuable piece.
  21. I was thinking this in a 4-3 under set, that having Tremaine with his length setting the edge. Then people got in an uproar about the idea. People who may not know what 4-3 under looks like. But anyway, in base 4-3 looks he should stay at mike based on the roster. But playing on the outside shoulder of the tight end in under looks may be an interesting wrinkle tor Tremaine to use his length. They ran this a lot on on McDermott’s Panthers teams, not so much here. Beenard definitely seems like he gives them a chance at more 3 linebacker sets.
  22. I for one am glad that Addison and Jerry are gone. I know people like Jerry. I get it. But every time Boogie played he did something. Opening up playing time for him and Rousseau is a huge positive imo.
  23. In broadcast journalism schools they teach people to work their voice in a deeper tone. It comes off fake and annoying to me. I like that Kay, and for that matter the other people on That show sound like they are using “normal” voices. To me that is part of the appeal of Kay.
  24. One of the things I like about Kay, amongst many others I like, is that she doesn’t use that fake weird man sports voice you typically hear with like Beth Mowins. I know they teach that in these sports journalism programs and I hate it.
