  1. I bet you worship the metric system too. Might as well start drinking tea and eating crumpets you anglophile.
  2. And yet over here not one British person sent to jail for pronouncing aluminum Al Yoo Min Ee Um Truly the United States is the more tolerant country.
  3. Well what I would say to you then is if Josh Allen is an actor he's won an Oscar when it comes to beating the absolute will out of the Miami Dolphins. His numbers and psychological dominion over that team humble all of the old heads that you think are real "football players."
  4. FYI I cannot stop laughing at this. Maybe over there they say your bowel is acting like a "punt" instead of a "spazz" Who would have known Tom freakin Brady would inspire such a comedic thread?
  5. That's true but the weird thing is the NFL has absolutely no need to do that outside of greed. I want the NFL to be accessible to the world but not be OF the world if that makes sense. The NBA sold its soul to get the Chinese market. You worry that the game would culturally devolve if it keeps making all of these commitments to other countries. Stylistically I think Germany is the European country that I think deserves more investment in if any because NFL Europe was completely carried by Germany and they developed a real appreciation/enthusiasm for the game. It has gotten better but the games in England appeared to be more novelties for the populace like an LA Rams or Chargers game.
  6. Oh come on. He should have been aware not to call someone a nimrod because the descendant of Babylon object....
  7. Fair enough. It's weird that it is so derogatory over there.
  8. It doesn't have the same connotation over here so it's fine. Honestly again I hear people in the UK be free and loose when they say a very derogatory term towards women that would get someone in the US fired so our friends across the pond shouldn't throw rocks at glass houses.
  9. I can't tell if you are being serious or not but in the UK a word that rhymes with 'punt' is thrown out like crazy over there but it is a no-no word over in the US.
  10. Under fire from who? Honestly I've heard announcers reference Josh as Sugar-High Josh Allen but I don't think that offends diabetic people.
  11. That's great! I'm glad Josh knows how to enjoy life and have fun. He's provided us Bills fans with alot of joy so it's only fair.
  12. Honestly Bishop shouldn't see the field until he mentally is where Hamlin is at in regards to understanding the defense. I would certainly hope that Bishop has better instincts and physicality than Hamlin but the truth is Hamlin understands the defense better right now. It isn't madden where you just plug in a player with a higher number. Obviously Bishop was injured and is extremely young and projects well into being a starter but based on what I saw he has alot to learn too.
  13. He does take bad angles and he has had some good plays. When he trusts what he sees and doesn't hesitate he can have a few good moments. I notice he typically does better in red zone situations. Honestly not every team can afford to be great or even good at all positions. He's a solid depth player and that he's still starting is an indictment of what they have at the position currently. Is Cole Bishop planning on doing anything? Mike Edwards?
  14. I definitely agree too that if we were looking at last year he really did look very slow and in hindsight should have not played last year so I'm not surprised people were pretty low on him. I definitely was and didn't think he would recover from it. But as I said I was seeing some really good signs in Training Camp and I realized this guy isn't a Mario Williams type of grifter he's an elite athlete who seems to still be motivated. It will be interesting to see but I agree if we can get a Leonard Floyd type of year it's going to help the Bills alot!
  15. I agree but would also say it is a mercy that he didn't hit Tua like Po hit Shakir or he may have put him in a coma.
  16. How do you square him being slow with:
  17. I wasn't surprised that he looks good. I followed training camp and am a Shout! Insider and there were several instances in camp back in July where he would have would be sacks on Allen or was giving the Bills tackles fits.
  18. Honestly with how thin they are at safety Hamlin is a good player to have around. I'm glad he came back to life and is still playing for the Bills, and I think he played pretty well last night.
  19. I don't think it's gameball worthy because it was just a play but Dion Dawkins sending that dude to the Shadow Realm on Khalil's TD
  20. Wow great win from Jessie!
  21. Lol no man. Superiority and College Football don't belong in the same sentence. You talk about the NFL being hard to watch and follow why don't you see what happens when the Akron Zips play Alabama and lose 68-0 and call that better than the NFL where it is devolved sludge masquerading around calling itself football.
  22. He wasn't that bad as a backup for the Bills a few years ago but his stint in Pittsburgh didn't seem to do him much good. He's always had this slow processing issue though since his Chicago days. Ultimately any backup will fail by the metric of running the same stuff as the starters because part of the Bills specific gameplan is dependent on having this utterly unique one of a kind athlete. Trubisky isn't the worst backup in the sense that he has a better than average arm and above average mobility. He has greatly underperformed so far this season though ultimately backups remain backups because they have significant flaws in their game. It's better to have a great quarterback and a terrible one as backup than two mediocre ones like many teams have. Any loss of Allen to the extent that it would even be possible to survive would entail a heavy running grind it out game.
  23. Honestly Trubisky is the definition of a 1 read qb. His processing is slow and if that 1 read doesn't get open he will miss all of the other wide open players. He still has an arm and can run around a bit. Ultimately the backup QB is doesn't matter because Allen is impossible to replace. I don't see how even now someone like Dinucci is an upgrade or gives them a better chance to win than Trubs.
  24. It shouldn't take a brain surgeon but in this paralysis by over-analysis era it seems to. Joe B will give Rousseau like an A+ grade for setting the edge or filling a run lane when Mahomes throws a 50 yard pass to Kelce with no pressure.
  25. I agree with Shaw66. The term 'window' gets used alot but I don't find it to have much meaning. The only two times I'd say a window was "closed" is probably the Rams after they won the SB and had to reckon with pushing all the chips for that year. And maybe the Buccaneers when they got old after Brady won them a ring. Otherwise seasons are a more apt way to think about it. Saying a window is closed is says there is absolutely no chance of that team winning a SB. The NFL is very hard to take an absolutist stance on because all sorts of random things happen within a SEASON.
