  1. I definitely agree too that if we were looking at last year he really did look very slow and in hindsight should have not played last year so I'm not surprised people were pretty low on him. I definitely was and didn't think he would recover from it. But as I said I was seeing some really good signs in Training Camp and I realized this guy isn't a Mario Williams type of grifter he's an elite athlete who seems to still be motivated. It will be interesting to see but I agree if we can get a Leonard Floyd type of year it's going to help the Bills alot!
  2. I agree but would also say it is a mercy that he didn't hit Tua like Po hit Shakir or he may have put him in a coma.
  3. I wasn't surprised that he looks good. I followed training camp and am a Shout! Insider and there were several instances in camp back in July where he would have would be sacks on Allen or was giving the Bills tackles fits.
  4. Honestly with how thin they are at safety Hamlin is a good player to have around. I'm glad he came back to life and is still playing for the Bills, and I think he played pretty well last night.
  5. I don't think it's gameball worthy because it was just a play but Dion Dawkins sending that dude to the Shadow Realm on Khalil's TD
  6. I blame our broken education system How is babby formed? Maybe Hamlin Big Play Tom
  7. Lol no man. Superiority and College Football don't belong in the same sentence. You talk about the NFL being hard to watch and follow why don't you see what happens when the Akron Zips play Alabama and lose 68-0 and call that better than the NFL where it is devolved sludge masquerading around calling itself football.
  8. He wasn't that bad as a backup for the Bills a few years ago but his stint in Pittsburgh didn't seem to do him much good. He's always had this slow processing issue though since his Chicago days. Ultimately any backup will fail by the metric of running the same stuff as the starters because part of the Bills specific gameplan is dependent on having this utterly unique one of a kind athlete. Trubisky isn't the worst backup in the sense that he has a better than average arm and above average mobility. He has greatly underperformed so far this season though ultimately backups remain backups because they have significant flaws in their game. It's better to have a great quarterback and a terrible one as backup than two mediocre ones like many teams have. Any loss of Allen to the extent that it would even be possible to survive would entail a heavy running grind it out game.
  9. Honestly Trubisky is the definition of a 1 read qb. His processing is slow and if that 1 read doesn't get open he will miss all of the other wide open players. He still has an arm and can run around a bit. Ultimately the backup QB is doesn't matter because Allen is impossible to replace. I don't see how even now someone like Dinucci is an upgrade or gives them a better chance to win than Trubs.
  10. It shouldn't take a brain surgeon but in this paralysis by over-analysis era it seems to. Joe B will give Rousseau like an A+ grade for setting the edge or filling a run lane when Mahomes throws a 50 yard pass to Kelce with no pressure.
  11. I agree with Shaw66. The term 'window' gets used alot but I don't find it to have much meaning. The only two times I'd say a window was "closed" is probably the Rams after they won the SB and had to reckon with pushing all the chips for that year. And maybe the Buccaneers when they got old after Brady won them a ring. Otherwise seasons are a more apt way to think about it. Saying a window is closed is says there is absolutely no chance of that team winning a SB. The NFL is very hard to take an absolutist stance on because all sorts of random things happen within a SEASON.
  12. 1-1 I was at the Titans game where Bud Adams flipped off Bills fans and I was at went to see them play the Rams in STL. Both games resulted in coaches being fired.
  13. Actually yes I did feel this team could win a Championship. The defense would have gotten some good players back if they had survived against KC. I knew the defense would struggle, but I overestimated how good the Bills WRs are.
  14. They aren't even. The Steelers were lucky to even make the playoffs, the Bills have won 5 in a row. The Bills may not blow the Steelers out but the Steelers are not coming to Buffalo and winning anything.
  15. McDaniels has a different approach than the traditional coach for sure. I think as a Bills fan it's easy to overlook him because of our teams blessed dominance of him and the Miami Dolphins. There's alot of 'tough guy' coaches who frankly suck. Look at Greg Schiano. You want to talk about a douchebag...remember "Schiano's men?" The Dolphins won 11 games and made the playoffs. I'm not so sure this guy doesn't know what he's doing. The Bills do currently own him though for sure.
  16. LeBatard isn't worth checking out about anything he's a dummy
  17. They earned it. Not just Josh but the team and coaches too!
  18. I'd say something about the Jills but, nobody has ever searched for them!
  19. Honestly I think Peterman wasn't devoid of talent but he had a fatal flaw in that pressure really destroyed him. I can see him being useful as like a player who can give a team different looks in practice. I think that's why some teams kept him around after the Bills they liked how he practiced. Anyway nice enough guy lot of people said he was very good in the locker room. But he maxed out as practice squad qb. *shrugs* Peterman was comical in how bad he was for the Bills but he was a novelty that really didn't cause me any great suffering. The drought now that was true suffering... Although since he was brought up does anyone have the "Peterman starting qb hype video" that had like a honeycomb background that is one of my favorite videos
  20. Merry Christmas to the best fan base in the world!
  21. I think that was a really underrated moment. Knox has a good sense of humor. I definitely got the impression that Knox know Dalton has soft hands especially for a TE and to be blunt compared to him.
