The Worthy Trade Keeps Looking Worse and Worse
Pasaluki replied to Bills Costa Rica's topic in The Stadium Wall
I know for sure I was hoping the Bills got a WR instead of any other position. I'm not going to retroactively say that the Bills messed up by not getting not DeJean. They really needed an impact WR who would produce right away. He didn't unfortunately. They also needed an impact safety who would produce right away. He didn't unfortunately. Hopefully next year these players will mature and thrive -
I'd be willing to give Cooper a year deal if he'd take it or possibly willing to extend if he'd take less to stay with us. I feel like his and Josh's chemistry can develop further and honestly he has a very mature attitude.

Yes! Thank you. They need a FS. Hamlin had some good moments but they never replaced Hyde's output to say the least. Elam is finished at least on the Bills I hope he finds success elsewhere because WOW. I actually think the secondary isn't as bad as an integrated unit as the pff rankings suggest. The Dline is overpaid and doesn't help the secondary to the extent they should. I could see a really good FS having a big impact.

The Great Red Dragon will fall. -
Yes he's capable as well.

I think if Codrington can't go this week Ty Johnson would fill in admirably. Assuming a Bills win Codrington will likely be fine for the next week to assume his regular duties. I don't think the game will come down to a muffed punt. If I have to say what is more likely I think the Bills blowing out the Broncos is more likely than them losing. If the Broncos are punting in general that is a bad thing because possessions are critical.
-
The best part is Codrington is practicing today. OP did you pick up this take when you saw it wallowing in the mud? Thanks

He usually hits a few really good throws a game. Can't really ask for more than that from a rookie. He definitely has talent.

12/22/24 GAMEDAY Week 15 Bills vs Patriots* Post GameThread
Pasaluki replied to BuffaloBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
I think their LBs aren't too healthy. They made quite a few mistakes on defense overall. I do not think the Bills pushed as hard as they could have and NE gave everything they had. This game was very similar to what KC has been doing all this season. They kind of just muddled through and waited for NE to make the critical mistakes they ended up making. Someone made a great point in that this is what the Brady Patriots did to the Bills. The Bills would play better than the Pats but would still lose. Now the roles are reversed where a C effort against them is enough to defeat them. -

Yeah I'd love for these sourpuss fans on this board to go out and have fun but that would require they touch grass. -
Yes preach

Hollins has a knack for making at least one clutch play a game. I don't care if he's weird he's a smart and crafty player and has helped us in some big spots.

Apparently you don't want to do that and instead just cry

An absolute disaster by the coaches at the end of this game
Pasaluki replied to Success's topic in The Stadium Wall
What I would say is relative to the coaches: There are levels. As bad as McDermott coached in this game one thing that has been impressed on me especially this year is how many bad coaches with bad brains there are. McDermott imo did panic and call the timeout. I think he thought that too much time would go off the clock after the piles of bodies on the failed sneak got up and got back into position. Overall it was the wrong decision for the reasons Tom Brady stated: the odds of getting an onsides kick essentially precluded the Bills from winning. I will also say it wasn't on the level of time mismanagment that teams like Bears routinely engage in. Andy Reid used to be criticized and called an idiot for how he managed the clock in Philadelphia. Turns out having Patrick Mahomes is the panacea and cured him of making practically any coaching mistakes. But the hyperbole of that moment of calling the timeout being like 13 seconds is foolishness to me. Honestly where McDermott deserves more criticism is for his Defensive game plan in general. -
12/8/24 Game 14 GAMEDAY! Bills vs Rams post game Thread
Pasaluki replied to BuffaloBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
Cowherd has oscillated like a cheap fan on whether or not Allen is even a good player. Spare me any of his takes on Josh Allen. Those who say Josh is being wasted: He didn't get struck by lightning and became what he is. He had to be developed and he had to work really hard and overcome so many obstacles to get to where he is. You can't separate what he is now from what he was. Do we think if he were drafted by the Bears he would be in the exact same situation as he is now? No way! The same organization that is wasting him developed him but that gets forgotten by alot of Bills fans just like "wrong Josh" take on draft day gets forgotten. -
McDermott’s Post Game speech deserves its own thread
Pasaluki replied to stevestojan's topic in The Stadium Wall
I think McDermott has shown alot of resiliency and has continued to grow as a head coach. Something that is a huge positive is unlike some of the other coaches Terry has hired, McDermott isn't a grifter who is ambivalent towards or trying to harm the Bills. He is someone who has a vision and he is very loyal. He is responsible for setting the culture for the team. Right now the vibes and morale is great with the team maybe the best I've ever seen. McDermott gets the credit for keeping the team together and happy. We have no further to look than in our own division to see the dysfunction/rot and chaos other coaches have brought to bear. Heck on that note look at the Bears. -
This game I dont have a good feeling about. Colts are talented team and have running ability while the Bills struggle against the run. DaQuon hasn't looked good.

Brady under fire for calling Josh a "spaz" on Sunday's broadcast...
Pasaluki replied to eball's topic in The Stadium Wall
This is getting way too pedantic but... *pushes up glasses* Actually in the original source of Principles of Chemical Philosophy of 1821 the author (Sir Humphrey Davy) describes the metal discovered and names it "aluminum" American English preserves this 1812 spelling and pronunciation of the word. All this for a throwaway joke because it's said differently in other areas but I don't follow the metric system or watch soccer because other countries are obsessed with them and neither am I going to even cede that aluminum is wrong when the entomology of the word suggests it was changed multiple times from the person who discovered it and wanted to make a cool Latin sounding word without knowing Latin. The oldest version and first use of the word is actually alumium. -

It would definitely be that if Ken Dorsey was still here. -
I wouldn't hate him as a backup for Josh. He needs to focus and reset. I agree with the previous post that had he said he had an injury nothing would be made of him taking a play off. He's not fit to be the leader of the team. Right now. Many 22 year old men aren't ready for the responsibility of the position that doesn't mean that they never will be or can't grow though so I would be hesistant if I were the Colts to completely move on and discard him.
