  1. This game I dont have a good feeling about. Colts are talented team and have running ability while the Bills struggle against the run. DaQuon hasn't looked good.
  2. This is getting way too pedantic but... *pushes up glasses* Actually in the original source of Principles of Chemical Philosophy of 1821 the author (Sir Humphrey Davy) describes the metal discovered and names it "aluminum" American English preserves this 1812 spelling and pronunciation of the word. All this for a throwaway joke because it's said differently in other areas but I don't follow the metric system or watch soccer because other countries are obsessed with them and neither am I going to even cede that aluminum is wrong when the entomology of the word suggests it was changed multiple times from the person who discovered it and wanted to make a cool Latin sounding word without knowing Latin. The oldest version and first use of the word is actually alumium.
  3. It would definitely be that if Ken Dorsey was still here.
  4. I wouldn't hate him as a backup for Josh. He needs to focus and reset. I agree with the previous post that had he said he had an injury nothing would be made of him taking a play off. He's not fit to be the leader of the team. Right now. Many 22 year old men aren't ready for the responsibility of the position that doesn't mean that they never will be or can't grow though so I would be hesistant if I were the Colts to completely move on and discard him.
  5. I bet you worship the metric system too. Might as well start drinking tea and eating crumpets you anglophile.
  6. And yet over here not one British person sent to jail for pronouncing aluminum Al Yoo Min Ee Um Truly the United States is the more tolerant country.
  7. Well what I would say to you then is if Josh Allen is an actor he's won an Oscar when it comes to beating the absolute will out of the Miami Dolphins. His numbers and psychological dominion over that team humble all of the old heads that you think are real "football players."
  8. FYI I cannot stop laughing at this. Maybe over there they say your bowel is acting like a "punt" instead of a "spazz" Who would have known Tom freakin Brady would inspire such a comedic thread?
  9. That's true but the weird thing is the NFL has absolutely no need to do that outside of greed. I want the NFL to be accessible to the world but not be OF the world if that makes sense. The NBA sold its soul to get the Chinese market. You worry that the game would culturally devolve if it keeps making all of these commitments to other countries. Stylistically I think Germany is the European country that I think deserves more investment in if any because NFL Europe was completely carried by Germany and they developed a real appreciation/enthusiasm for the game. It has gotten better but the games in England appeared to be more novelties for the populace like an LA Rams or Chargers game.
  10. Oh come on. He should have been aware not to call someone a nimrod because the descendant of Babylon object....
  11. Fair enough. It's weird that it is so derogatory over there.
  12. It doesn't have the same connotation over here so it's fine. Honestly again I hear people in the UK be free and loose when they say a very derogatory term towards women that would get someone in the US fired so our friends across the pond shouldn't throw rocks at glass houses.
  13. I can't tell if you are being serious or not but in the UK a word that rhymes with 'punt' is thrown out like crazy over there but it is a no-no word over in the US.
  14. Under fire from who? Honestly I've heard announcers reference Josh as Sugar-High Josh Allen but I don't think that offends diabetic people.
  15. That's great! I'm glad Josh knows how to enjoy life and have fun. He's provided us Bills fans with alot of joy so it's only fair.
