You think Pittsburgh has a chance to beat KC. How? They have no offense. Their receivers are brutal outside Pickens...who is injured. These games are showing that Pittsburgh was fraudulent.

Idk why...but I have a weird feeling about this game. Coming off a huge win in Detroit. Opponent is brutal but QB has the ability to make any throw and can run. Division games are always tough. To be fair, that game was in New England. And they were still better coached vs the guy they have this year.

The spread might be 14 points or more We should win this rather easily

Do I think there's a 50/50 chance the Bills win? Yes. But I also think that percentage is higher if we got Denver or Pittsburgh at home instead. So no I wouldn't voluntarily choose to play KC over anyone else.

Resting starters for two weeks is not an option imo. That would most likely lead to them coming out and laying an egg in the first playoff game.

My issue is teams have to wait until the 4th quarter. Like why? It's stupid.

He is absolutely correct. There are very few game changers on this team. Who on D would keep OC's up at night? There are no legit # 1 receivers. That's simply unacceptable. Brady had Gronk and Edelman. They had top 10 defenses who helped win SB's. In fact, I'm pretty sure they had a top 10 D every time they won a SB. Chiefs have elite talent on D. Of course, Kelce at TE & had Hill. I'm not even going to get into the difference in coaches. It's been beaten to death.

This. And if Belichick came here and won a SB, how many people in Buffalo would hate him? None. He would have a statue and street named after him.

Keep in mind Houston has the tiebreaker on us. So if they go undefeated and we lose twice...we are the 5th seed.

He can be worse. Definitely.

I've always thought he was a bit overrated. He's a very good player in a defense that lacks very good players. But I never thought he was this monstrous game changer.

Then you go with an experienced HC. But those guys aren't out there. Payton, Harbaugh, Tomlin, McVay, Shanahan etc aren't leaving their teams. Which is why ownership will most likely stick with McD.

If your a defensive HC and your defense keeps losing you playoff games...that's a terrible look. I appreciate Hamlin's story. It's inspirational. But he should not be starting on defense for any team with SB aspirations. And stop keeping younger players on the bench who played well. Just because experienced old guys are back. Younger guys too. Time to move on from Miller & Milano. One is fried. The other is injury prone.

I think most passed because he wanted full control. If not McDermott...maybe Ben Johnson. There's zero chance he turns down the Bills job to take Bears position. I fear ownership has this mindset that the next HC could be worse and so no changes should be made.

They are such a bizarre franchise. Three elite QB's in 40 years...one SB appearance. Fouts, Rivers and Herbert.

Ownership probably doesn't want to fire a good HC because he helped get them out of the dark ages. And because a new HC could be worse. Division titles were impressive in 2020-2021. By 2024, no fan cares about division titles when we follow it up by not coming close to getting to a SB with an elite QB. The Patriots won the AFC east 17 out of 19 years. 11 straight times. I don't think many will remember that. They will remember them consistently getting to, and usually winning SB's.

Who is a better defensive mind...Belichick or McDermott? Who has outcoached Reid in big games...Bill or McD? Who held the Rams to three points in a SB? Made Peyton Manning look like a scrub twice? Has a gameplan in the HOF? Hint: It wasn't McD. Sorry...I'm at the point where I'm outright angry we haven't sniffed a SB with a generational QB. Belichick sucking without Brady would only be relevant if we had a scrub at QB. We do not. Yeah...I think I'll take the more despised, yet much better HC over the nice guy who freezes in big moments.

Even if the Bills had already clinched the 1 seed by now, I would still be adamant that this new playoff format is dumb. There was nothing wrong with the two top seeds getting a bye. None. These new WC teams just water down the games. And yes I realize it was only done because of money.
