  1. Bledsoe to Brady, and Bledsoe to Romo. Bledsoe to Losman did not work out. He was 2-1 as a bridge guy.
  2. Yeah, that is the best take on this topic. Most other talk shows, mix broadcast people with a former player or coach. Just look at the NFL pregame shows. Granted I avoid the John Murphy Show which has Donald Jones as co-host, almost all the time. Also the instigators doesn't interest me at all. I feel it as to do with the production staff on those shows, that fail them. You need strong personalities on this show. People that are confident in their opinions and can defend them. They also need structure on the show. I don't believe the programming from 10-3 has any of those things. But Howard, Jeremy, Schopp and the BullDog do have all that. They do however sometimes get stuck and repetitive, and that's when they could use a former player or coach co-host to help them out.
  3. If we don't have a true number 1 receiver by tomorrow, I'm done!
  4. Defensive line is all set now!
  5. WGR intentionally has a diverse group of hosts on their station. Every bills fan is different, so they try and accommodate a show for each type. I cannot stand the John Murphy show, but clearly a lot of people still like his show. I personally prefer Schopp and the Bull Dog as the best show on that station. I know a lot of other people hate them. I was hoping there would be a poll set up on this thread.
  6. So does this mean, that the Bills website on Wednesday, is going to release the Taylor Trade as breaking news?
  7. When we get to this time next year, I'm sure it'll be less than half of that. But it is good to know we aren't stuck with too much dead money already for next year.
  8. 1. No, but I wish I was, I would have saved a lot of money in child support payments 2. THATS WHERE I KNOW YOU FROM! Every Tuesday, that was you!
  9. The franchise tag period has expired.
  10. This would make next week even more interesting, if Drew Brees some how hits the open market and signs with someone else. I wonder if we could afford him. I would love the move, then we can use all our draft picks to build a better team around him. Probably would only be a 2 or 3 year deal, instead of the 6 or 7 that Cousins would want.
  11. If we didn't make the playoffs, I would still be sitting around, wondering if the drought would EVER end. Everything from that final Bengals drive. leading up to the Jacksonville game, was the best week as a sports fan I have had in a long time. I feel like I would have been infinitely more upset at how bad the Sabres are right now, if I didn't get to experience a Buffalo Bills playoff game this year.
  12. I can remember Steve Tasker talking about him on the John Murphy show, saying sometimes when a player has such great success so quickly, he fails to appreciate the amount of work involved to be great. So he slacked off going into his sophomore year. I don't think I ever saw a player eat his way out of the league in just his second year. I'm sure trainers talk to players about that stuff and use him as an example.
  13. When I was considering dropping tv, I asked Spectrum to give me a price for internet alone. So far what they have quoted to me has been accurate. They also gave me a faster internet connection, because they refuse to go below 100Mbps these days. I think I was at 20 before. I was paying $135 for tv and internet bundle, and my internet by it self is $65 now.
  14. Does anybody know how to have their TV broadcast their phone's display screen? I have Verizon, so I would automatically get bills games on the NFL app, streamed "Live" - more so about a 3 or 4 minute delay. Doesn't even use any data. That will be my best option, since I live near train tracks, and they mess up my digital antenna signal.
  15. I don't want a QB in 2019. If we don't get a Quarterback in 2018, I am very curious to find out what the bills did instead. I will worry about the 2019 draft, if the 2018 draft comes and goes without a single QB taken with any of our picks.
  16. 2002 vs. Vikings. 9 lead changes, mike hollis bouncing a game tying field goal off the cross bar. Buffalo winning in overtime. Incredible game!
  17. I wonder what this would be like if it picked number 1 overall. I know it would be similar to the NHL and NBA lottery system. Has the number 1 pick in the NFL ever been decided by a coin flip?
  18. People wanted Tyrod to be a receiver too. Maybe the bills should draft both Lamar Jackson, and another QB in the first round. Two chances to see which one is a franchise QB, and if Jackson isn't good enough to be our guy, he can play receiver. Every guy is different, maybe he would be ok with that.
  19. Exactly, if it works you're happy. If it doesn't work, and one of the QBs that was available at 21 ends up being that franchise QB anyways, we're pissed. It's like going for it on 4th and 11 on your own 30. If you get it, and eventually score a Touchdown on the drive, and win the game by 1 point, you're happy. If you don't get it and lose by the number of points the other team score on the ensuing drive, you're pissed. I would rather only trade picks to move up, I don't want to move our best offensive player. If Kyle and Eric are both gone, shady could be the new leader of that locker room.
  20. The game against Akron on Tuesday, was my first UB basketball game. I need to go to more of these in the coming years. IMO it is way more entertaining then bison's games, as far as attending a "Non major" sporting event. I really hope St. Bonnaventure and UB both make the NCAA tournament.
  21. I really wish the fantasy football sites, would do a mock draft game. You would just need to have your final entry submitted at least a day in advance, as sometimes the first pick is decided before it even starts. I've also heard of a point system, where it doesn't worry about trades or teams, just predicting the number the player goes. 5 points if your spot on, 4 points if your 1 spot off, 3 points if your 2 spots off, 2 if your 3 spots off, and 1 if your 4 picks off. I feel once these games become more popular, we can find the point system we would all like. Make it happen Yahoo!, ESPN, CBS! Just do it!
  22. So was your New years Eve a miserable one? You really wish we were still talking about the drought right now? I'm sorry, I just don't believe you, that you didn't enjoy that week. The week that started when those 4:25 games kicked off on new years eve, and ended on January 7th. That week was the reason I stuck with this team for the entire drought. Was to hopefully be here for the party when it ended. Don't get me wrong, I didn't believe for a second that we would win the super bowl, but not every team that makes the playoffs is thought of as a super bowl contender. Finally something went our way. I would rather make the playoffs, then relive the Sabres tank year. I am so glad that who ever we draft this year, in this Quarterback rich draft, will never have to answer a question about the drought. I do believe that is very important.
  23. There will be other ways we can fill those positions. There is a gamble every year in the draft. Its almost like a game of poker. And people will decide if we won or lost the draft on April 29th. Of course it will take several years to really decide that. You are assuming that if we traded all that, we would automatically be set up for failure, and essentially waste Josh Rosen's career, like the Sabres are wasting Eichel's. Dan Marino was picked at 27 in 1983. Maybe the Generational talent we want will be there at 21 or 22. We don't know, but all we can do is go with our gut. I'm sorry, but even when we drafted EJ Manual in the first round, we were all very excited to see how he would do. If we draft any Quarterback in the first round this year, its going to be exciting. I'm not going to allow myself to sit there on April 26th pissed because of what you said. This Quarterback we get, will be with us for 4 years at a minimum, and we aren't trading every single 1st and 2nd round pick from those 4 years. The Eagles traded a lot to get Carson Wentz, and they were able to win the super bowl even after he got injured. I thought according to your logic, the Eagles would have tons of holes throughout the rest of the team, after losing other draft picks. The rams still made the playoffs, after trading a lot to get Jared Goff. They were both in the playoffs in those Quarterbacks 2nd year. There are also tons of examples where it doesn't work. Lets watch and find out what happens.
  24. I feel like, Eric Wood's injury is the only injury where Doctors just come and tell a seemingly healthy player, that he cant play anymore. I'm either assuming the NFL really doesn't care about player's safety, or the injuries that Gronkowski has suffered over the years have been exaggerated.
