How much earlier do the bills get the schedule compared to the general public?

The colts are an away game. I really feel the colts are going to play the patriots to start their season. With the whole Josh Mcdaniels not becoming their head coach and all.

With Ritchie Retiring, is the Season Over?
wagon127 replied to Buffalo Bills Detective's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Last year's season was over after we traded Watkins, Darby and got rid of Jonathan Williams. I'm glad I didn't watch it. Did I miss anything good last year? -
20 Year Debate: Carucci in 1998 - Head vs. Arm
wagon127 replied to BigBuff423's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
A crapshoot is a bit of an exaggeration. Unfortunately there are way to many variables that occur between draft day, and how long it takes for a player to hit their prime and establish who they are as an NFL player. Any GM could probably write a novel defending why they took a particular QB, but it takes the player to put in the work after he gets thrown a ton of money, and the team to find a way to get the most out of that player. Its as much of a crapshoot as drafting a fantasy football team. It doesn't mean you don't try to put in the work to draft what you feel will be a good team. Whenever the draft is over, its now time to go to real work. No matter who of the Top 6 QB's they take, I will be excited to see what that guy will do. -
20 Year Debate: Carucci in 1998 - Head vs. Arm

Yeah, its why I'm ok with whoever the bills take at QB. I will wait to see what the guy can do on an NFL field, and not worry about what he did in college. I trust the process, that the Bills will make a sensible decision this year. -
what was the name of the Jets player you are talking about? Or what year?

Moving up to #2 = No Playoffs for the next three years
wagon127 replied to Domdab99's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
When we missed the playoffs for 17 straight years, were we without a 1st, 2nd and 3rd round draft picks the entire time? Or were we missing a franchise QB? -
Donald Jones to exit 'John Murphy Show'
wagon127 replied to ricojes's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Schopp and the bulldog, and Howard and Jeremy are much better programs, then the John Murphy Show. -
Oh good! We will finally "fill" all those holes on the team. I think Mason Rudolph might still be available when you get to the third round in this game. lol

You can want to trade up all you want

25 days to go. As long as we get 1 of the 6 guys I am happy. And then hopefully most of the fan base will be ready to defend whatever guy it is, instead of criticizing who they get. -
Jerry Sullivan: Ralph Wilson Was A Cheapskate
wagon127 replied to BuffaloRush's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
We always thought he was cheap. There were many times, I remember us begging Ralph Wilson to sell the team, for 1. As security for them to stay, and 2 As hoping somebody would bring a winning atmosphere back. I can't blame the guy for wanting to hang on to his NFL toy for the rest of his life. But he was cheap, and at times made us feel like we should just be grateful we even have a team. When it was all said and done, he set up his estate to make sure then new owner would have no intentions to move the team. I'm not sure who deserves a greater appreciation in ownership, Ralph Wilson, or the Knox Brothers. -
Sal C: Broncos Love Mason Rudolph
wagon127 replied to Jamie Muellers Ghost's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Its very interesting. Almost everybody agrees that "Darnold, Allen, Rosen, and Mayfield" are the top 4. And Jackson is 5th, and Rudolph is the 6th guy. I have this feeling that Rudolph or Jackson might end up going earlier than some of the top 4. I also believe that how good these 6 guys end up being will be completely different than how we are viewing them now. I feel in the long run, 3 of these guys will be good, and 3 will be busts. The bills have to take a chance on one of them, but it is most likely a crapshoot. -
Mcdermott OT vs Indy in snow. Poll!
wagon127 replied to BrycePaup4ever's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I hated the decision. I'm kind of over it now though. It didn't work out when rex did it against Miami, but it worked out here. Also just because you win the game, doesn't mean the coach was perfect with every call he made. This was a very dangerous call, in which the players managed to bail out McDermott. I worry this will not be the last time we see this mistake get made. -
I would like a couple of 4:00 games. It will either mean we get extra tailgating time. Or I can get some various errands done before an away game kick off. The 1:00 games are nice, but its also night to not have 15 of them. IF the bills get a Sunday night Football game, it will be voted most likely to get flexed out....

I believe the stats you projected are within 10 top QB numbers. If he does that you keep giving him the job. You hang onto 2 quarterbacks as long as you can afford it. I believe AJ has a chance to become the franchise Quarterback. There is no guarantee the rookie we will draft will be good, but I still want them to take that chance.
-
I feel like the Saints didn't even give him a chance last year. He started the year off with a suspension, and it took a long time before they even gave him a healthy dose of snaps.
-
You don't just deal and move on. I mean you can. But I will worry about what deals the bills did or did not make, if the draft ends, and we don't have a promising rookie quarterback on the roster.....
-
Hopefully he is just suspended. Releasing him is probably an overreaction. We will mostly forget about this by the season opener.
-
Well, hopefully after we draft our QB, the next position we target is Linebacker. I wonder when our 2nd draft pick will actually be when its all said and done. Beane says he only has money for really cheap free agents, and draft picks.
