  1. Playoff Tournaments are the best, when they are 1 month long. NCAA Basketball Tournament, NFL Playoffs, Baseball Playoffs, World Cup of Soccer. I wish Hockey and Basketball would lower their playoff teams, or shorten early round series, so its only 5 or 6 weeks, instead of 8 or 9.
  2. I went to a Sabres vs Blackhawks game, and saw someone there wearing a customized Buffalo Bills #88 Kane Jersey. There was no greater crime then what I saw that day. Everything else is fair game now.
  3. Bringing players on this team, that potentially think they are better then the people already on it, has proved to be troublesome for most teams in the past. Just look at Sammy Watkins and Kelvin Benjamin. They got rid of Benjamin early, forfeiting a compensatory pick, cause of how bad he was. The locker room matters. Develop Singletary, and enjoy the Running back production at a bargain financially. You are going to probably pay Gordon 5-10 times what is the current total payroll for our back field. And you most definitely will not see 5-10 times the amount of production.
  4. Is it ok to hope for a shut out by the defense in this game?
  5. Exactly, i dont understand what the OP is actually expecting from the media on a 4-1 team that wasnt expected to be 4-1. Any non-NFC East team would be treated the same way
  6. The game day announcers broke down the numbers, saying that buffalo had one of the best defenses. Arent all of us still a little nervously optimistic that this will hold up to being a 10 or 11 win team. Why should the national media be predicting that to happen already? Teams need to earn respect nationally, and 4-1 has opened their eyes, but they arent ready to crown them as the team most likely to be one of the best teams at the end of the year just yet.
  7. But that's the example you were responding to used. I think the outliers should have an exception to the rule. If you have 8 or less wins, a division win get you in the playoffs but not a home game. Anybody wining the division with 9 or more wins, is guaranteed a home game.
  8. I get, that's how the rule works, it doesn't mean its fair. A winning record should be more respected, than a team that won a division title with a losing record.
  9. Its weird, that people will respond with, that you don't care about anything else, except winning. If somebody said they wanted to see a certain player score a touchdown, or Tom brady getting sacked, would people honestly say they don't care at all about that, they just want to win? If somebody said they want to see a Hat Trick or a fight in a hockey game you would respond with "I just want to win."? If all I cared about was winning, I would just turn the game on with 5 minutes to go, and see what the score is. But I watch the entire game, because "I want to see how exactly we did win the game." Saying you want to win is not a valid argument in this case, we all want to see this team win. This OP was created, I believe, to discuss if you think Josh Allen can possibly get to 300 yards against a defense like the one coming up.
  10. The 300 yard passing game, are the kinds of numbers the best QB's in the league throw for. Of course wins are more important. But if Allen's numbers are mediocre against this terrible team, most Bills fans will definitely care about that.
  11. For once, I'd like to be developing our Quarterback to be Elite some day. I want to win of course, that's a priority over everything else. If the opportunity presents itself, light up the stat lines. How many of the Quarterbacks, that we consider elite, have done that to our weak defenses over the years? You aren't the least bit curious if Josh Allen can put up those kinds of numbers?
  12. I think the bills should absolutely use some of the games coming up, to pad Josh Allen's season long stats. Gain some respect from national media.
  13. I think they were probably in shock he actually did it, and that he didn't get up from it. I mean, its only a few seconds.... This is the dumbest of all table slamming videos, and I probably would hesitate in helping for a few seconds, just cause im not sure he deserves it.
  14. I hate their team and their fans. But when I see them in our stadium, im not going to be an ass to them. They paid for their ticket just like I did. The other 364 days a year, I want to scream in their face, and ask how can you sit there and keep thinking your entitled to more championships. But when I see them in person, I mind my own business....
  15. The best we can hope for, is eventually he will mentally break down, and start taking unnecessary risk, that costs his team. I'd hate to see this team sitting at 14-0 the next time we play them....
  16. The players should just focus on playing football. Im sorry, but if I start thinking about the big picture, I am more likely to make a mistake. They players should have respect for who is on the other side line, but just focus on what the gameplan is, and go out and execute it.
  17. Why wouldnt you want to have more time of possesion towards the end of the game? By then you know half of how the game has gone, and can plan your 2nd half strategy better...
  18. The stadium was barely half full at the start of the 3rd Quarter last week, due to concession lines. I dont want Brady out there taking advantage of that.
  19. John Clayton just said that the bills are the toughest opponent on the first half of the Pats schedule
  20. I dont care if we lose by 1 point, 10 points or 50 points i will be pissed as i walk out of that stadium. It will never be ok to lose to this team. Ive learned a few years ago, my hatred for the patriots, outweighs my love for the bills. I show up to see the Patriots lose, in person, this Sunday!
  21. Theres no greater joy then watching the patriots lose. It gives us a chance to hold the division later on. But History seems to indicate that we will go 6-10 and the patriots will be in the super bowl, like the 2 times we actually beat Tom Brady.....
  22. When you have 70,000 people in a place that doesnt normally have 70,000 people, the cell service gets shot. Everybody is either pulling up their tickets, checking their fantasy team, or posting selfies online. I wish they'd have non-mobile gate lines available since i have season ticket card. But how does that help me get through the line when everybody in front of me didnt do that?
  23. I think if they were playing New England they would have acted differently. Because it was a struggling Giants team, they went for the break.
  24. I agree with you. The franchise did more than they needed to do, and there didnt seem to be any bitterness from Pancho. He was grateful for every thing the bills did for him. I'm not going to sit here and say why didnt they do more. Thats insane.
