  1. Maybe 2 fortnights.
  2. I'm not suggesting it would take 4 or 5 years to become an 11 win team. I'm talking about 13, 14, or 15 win teams. I think this Bills team can win 10 or 11 games this year.
  3. Going into this game, I cautioned people who were thinking this was a 13, 14 or 15 win team. It takes more then just talent and a favorable schedule to get there. It takes a mental preparedness that can only come from players and leaders who are accustomed to winning. Almost everybody on this team, is not used to having winning seasons in the NFL. They are going to have ups and downs throughout this season. The Eagles are having such an up and down season. Still not able to handle their super bowl hangover. They have lost to and beaten bad teams, and lost to and beat good teams. The cowboys and Ravens are the same way. I still think this is a 10 or 11 win team. There's no reason to think the sky is falling, and we need to abandon the plan to develop with Josh Allen, and this coaching staff.
  4. There is a solid chance we will be 8-3 by the time thanksgiving gets here. Stop panicking and reanalyzing decisions this team made 5 years ago......
  5. it's irrelevant how blatantly obvious it is. Referee's are NOT overturning pass interference calls on the field. They are clearly protesting this rule change, and unless it is something as terrible as what happened in the NFC championship game, McDermott should keep his red flag in his pocket.
  6. If this team only had the Eagles on their schedule, they probably would beat them more often than not. But this team isn't mature enough to be a 13, 14, or 15 win team. They are going to have games like the one yesterday against other teams down the stretch. I do think they are still a 10 or 11 win team. The positive I have, is that the week before the Eagles were blown out by Dallas, and they were able to come back and play better this week. I'm confident the Bills can do the same. Not just against the Redskins, but all of their next 4 opponents.
  7. Why would he challenge pass interference? They arent over turning these calls, McDermott is clueless if he is actually still trying this.
  8. What did the eagles do the week before playing us? In some ways, every week is different. Also, one team is 1-7, the other 5-2. Unless the starting QB of the 5-2 team is out, theres not a single scenario where the bills wouldnt be a favorite. Were you drunk in the parking lot when you created this thread?
  9. No it doesn't say anything. Preseason games are designed to evaluate talent, and limit injuries, not to win games. I've seen teams in the past down by 3 in the 4th quarter, just kneel the ball to end the game. This stupid thread made me look back at what happened, and the Viking in no way cared if they won that 4th preseason game, and buffalo did. Resulting in an insane comeback.
  10. Here's an interesting stat, I think this is the first time I ever heard somebody bring up the accomplishments of a Preseason in the middle of October.
  11. I get what the OP is saying. Its a bit of an exaggeration though. If we win this week, it'll be the best team they have beaten this year. No matter what, the game against the Patriots was a bigger deal than this one. Now, if we win, it doesn't mean we are going to be 10-1 against the Cowboys on Thanksgiving. Cleveland is hardly a cake walk. And even the best teams lose to bad teams once in a while. Look at the Patriots in Miami over the last several years.
  12. We really need us White Helmet fans to speak up louder. The Royal Blue crowd worked on the Sabres finally this past year. I will not let the Red Helmet fans ruin a perfectly good white helmet with their mob mentality of posting on every single social media post about how "everybody wants red helmets" I'm sorry, the Red helmet looked good on Jim Kelly, and that's about it. Leave the Red Helmet in the 90s where it belonged.
  13. I'm sorry, but in your mind, you are suggesting the only way to be a "real team" is to be undefeated. Since the cowboys lost a few games, the Chiefs, The Texans and the Ravens have lost some games, all those teams in your mind are "Terrible teams." All 4 of the teams I mentioned are on the Patriots schedule yet to be played, and the bills have half of those teams on their schedule, plus the patriots. Just because the bills are beating teams that are worse then them, doesn't mean every single one of them are terrible teams.
  14. This is good. Because I don't know about you, I am not content with being 5-1 either. I want more. Even if they were 6-0, I would want more, cause the season isn't over yet. And the bills have not done anything over the last 25 years, to earn the countries respect as an NFL football team. There's a lot of football to be played over the next 2-3 months, and the bills have a lot of growing to do as well. You can bet Sean McDermott tells his players this same thing every single week.
  15. He has to retire or leave the team eventually. Since you accused us of being drunk originally for thinking this could be the year. And suggested that 10 years ago it was more likely.
  16. 3 out of the next 5 games have that opportunity!
  17. Every year, there are games where a good team, loses or struggles to beat a bad team. Sometimes those Good teams that either lost, or almost lost to the bad team win the super bowl, or have a deep playoff run. Think about the 2007 Dallas cowboys who beat us by 1 point, and needed a lot of luck to win that game. They finished 13-3, with the number 1 seed in the NFC. Think about the Patriots 2nd super bowl winning season, who lost to a 6-10 buffalo bills team 31-0. Or the 2011 Patriots, who lost to a 6-10 buffalo bills team, yet they still won the AFC championship. This is really a week to week league. Just win and move on. The dominant games against bad teams will come soon!
  18. What Happened to the Broncos after Manning left? While He didn't put up the numbers we are used to, he still played quarterback with the same wisdom he normally had. He didn't make mistakes that cost his team. The Patriots are not set up right now to obtain a QB with that kind of discipline next year, should Brady leave.
  19. The Bills need to be all in now as well. The Super bowl Consecutive record is on the line. I want to be able to say we beat Tom Brady for the division title at least once in my life time. I want to beat Tom Brady in the playoffs once in my life time as well. This is it, this is the last chance!
  20. I love buffalo crowds as much as the next guy, but the crowd is only loud when they are on defense, and even then when they are on the line of scrimage, or if the team scores a touchdown. The purpose of this discussion is all the times outside of that, when there are videos and another announcements being played. They just need better speakers, in more places.
  21. Its ok to delete this thread if you want...
  22. Its definitely the PA system. Some areas of the stadium you probably can hear it, but others it doesn't sound like anything. I couldn't hear the Wedding ceremony at all. I couldn't hear Thurman's ceremony last year at all. I can't hear any of the videos they play on the scoreboard. There are very few area's of the stadium where the sound is adequate. The stadium was built for watching football, and acoustic's really weren't considered. I sit corner endzone by the tunnel.
  23. Its the same thing at Bison's games, when they have their Super Hero or Star Wars nights. They play these videos that they worked really hard to create, and you can't hear a word anybody says. Its really sad, when the NFL team, has the same acoustic problems that the local Triple A baseball team has. I had no idea somebody got ejected yesterday, and wondered why it took 5 minutes to resume the game after the penalty.
