Based on lurking in the enemy's boards and seeing rumors I wouldn't be surprised at all if the gruff, "all work no play" atmosphere of Belichick has worn thin with Brady, and now that he's won 6 rings he wants to go somewhere else and experience a different vibe, where it's more "fun" to come to work

I think Brady is tired of being hated and thinks if he left NE he could enjoy a few years of being celebrated by NFL fans outside of NE.

This is actually a fascinating philosophical question... IF Brady played against NE, who would you root for? For me, it would be Brady. But it's close.

Maybe Rex Ryan will come back, and he can play on his team!

I'm not ready for Brady vs. the Patriots..... I bet he goes to the Redskins or something, knowing he wouldn't play against the Patriots for 4 years.

    100% Agree.

BOTH Daboll & McD were clueless about his 0 for 50 yard attempts, Daboll more so, by NOT calling the T.O. on 3rd. Down to get the best possible 8-10 yard play for Allen.

Which would have meant a makeable 40 odd yard kick!

EVERYONE watching the game saw the graphic!

Exactly, and it doesn't matter if he has made all of his 50 yard attempts this year. You still put your players in the best position to make plays. No matter what their role.

It doesn't take a genius to figure out that 40-45 yard field goals are significantly easier for NFL kickers then 50+.

  3. There's a reason a lot of fantasy football leagues draft QB's much later then they used to. They realized there isn't much of a difference week to week between the 4th best QB, and the 15th best QB. I only bring up fantasy because we are talking about Stats. Decision making, and completing drives when it matters, is the difference between good QBs and bad QBs. Allen is still a work in progress, and he needs at least the full 2020 season before you start thinking its never going to work.

Who, for the Bills, makes the decision?  Coach, GM, the owners?

My guess, is maybe just a marketing guy of some sort. I like the fact that they wear white sometimes at home. Its a nice change once in a while. I really don't care what color pants they wear. I'm not sure why so many fans get all worked up about pants, or helmets too..

  5. I feel a good indicator about how the Flexible scheduling still favors larger markets, over a more exciting matchup is this week. The Texans and Ravens would clearly be a more fun game to watch. More explosive offenses and better Winning records. Yet we are stuck with Bears vs. Rams. The Texans and Ravens are on during 1:00. I know CBS can protect games, but they already would have protected the Patriots and Eagles.

So I highly doubt the Bills will ever get flexed into a Sunday night game. You would need a perfect storm of a downright terrible matchup on SNF, and the Bills having a good matchup against a large market team. The week 16 "flex" isn't really a flex. The game never had a time assigned to it, and there were 3 empty slots on Saturday for our game. In 2007, NBC didn't have any games assigned to their lineup until 2 weeks prior, and that's how the Bills vs. Patriots was able to be flexed so easily that year.

Agreed.  Though I do wonder if we had beaten Cleveland would we have gotten the 8:30 slot?  I'm good with the 4:30 tho.

Agreed. The bills have 4 away games in the Mountain or Western Time zones next year. So most likely will have a few 4:00 games. I like 4:00 time slots. Plenty of time to get house work done before the game, and still early to bed after.

dont see this being a division championship game unless something drastic happens on offense.   we have NO identity and Dabol week to week is getting worse at game calling.   Since the concussion seems like Allen is being coached or playing scared.

I mean I get it. If I had to choose between what is more likely, a Patriot collapse, or the bills developing their offense properly. I would chose the patriots scenario. This is the message board of dreams.

There is a very good chance the Bills will not win against the Pats*.

The NFL set it up for a 4 pm start and I will still watch the game.

If you look at week 16 Sunday schedule for the CBS lineup it is quite obvious that the Bills Patriots game is the best to flex.

This was never assigned to cbs. Nfl network had first dibs on the games.

who in their right mind would flex this game lol

NFL likes high scoring games. no one wants to watch a QB who struggles to put up more than 15 points per game.

They only had 5 games to choose from. 3 of the other games were worse...

I suppose I'm more confident that the pats might collapse, then the bills fixing their problems.

  10. I don't have time to listen to a 3 hour commercial, to get me to buy tickets and merchandise. I already buy that stuff. Give me Jeremy, Howard, Mike and Chris any day. Tell me the way it really is. Even Sal is starting to lean more toward the Murphy and Taster style, as opposed to being a nice medium between One bills live, and the rest of the station.
