i know i cursed the Dyngus Day parade for ruining a game i wanted to watch for many many years....
sometimes the Final Four extended into April
Dyngus day parade is more popular then ever now!
Still dont understand why they would have a dyngus day parade consistently on a sunday afternoon in the middle of march. Dyngus day is always the monday after easter, which would be at the earliest march 22nd. It had to be st patricks day parade. That would make way more sense.

it wiped out the 2nd round of March Madness at least until 1994... I moved to Toronto that year and it wasn't a problem for me....
i would guess it was the Sunday afternoon session.
as well, the Oscars were the same night as the NCAA Final, causing all kinds of misery before people got 8 TVs in their homes, then the Oscars packed it in and moved away to another night
Was the basketball tournament in april back then? I know easter can be in march, but its rare.

Channel 4 in Buffalo carried the Dyngus Day Parade live well into the 1990s, cutting out the national CBS broadcast of the Saturday/ Sunday 2nd round of March Madness, had to go 20 miles away to get the Erie feed, somehow not included with the NBC and ABC affiliate on my cable package...
When did they have the parade? Usually dyngus day is the monday after easter, which is normally in April i would think?

Why should I have to do the legwork? They're already putting maps together for CBS and FOX. Why can't they just FINISH THEIR JOBS and do it for NBC, too?
Because its nationally televised, and extremely rare that a telethon would trump sunday night football. In the time that you typed your last post on here, i plugged in wnyt.com in my browser and figured it out that you have the game.

It's on an affiliate-by-affiliate basis just like any other game. One TBDer has a telethon on at that time.
Yeah, but the map wouldnt even account for that. Just look at the affiliates website for listings, or call it.

This is why we need the damn map.
Do you really think your NBC affiliate wont show the bills/steelers game, or are you just joking?

The season ticket holders would all go, plus they already sold 10,000 extra. I dont think there are that many tickets left.

Is this a Bigger cheating scandal than Deflate Gate and the Spy Gate #1?????
Its obviously not as big of a game as a super bowl or afc championship game. But its just the fact, they got in trouble for stuff like this before, yet still do it!

I didn't understand that either, that decision is what gave me the thought that they were planning to go for two on the second touchdown....there really wasn't any other reason to do that IMO.
They were down by 15. You need 7 points on one drive, and 8 on the other. There's no opinion on this. McDermott made the right call.

go check again.
remember in 2017 we had the same record with the chargers who crushed us? we got in ahead of them.
We have the worst SOS in the NFL this season, we aren't winning any tiebreakers this year, its 10 wins or bust for us. 9-7 gets you nowhere.
It was a 3 way tie breaker, where the three teams didnt all play against one another. Since baltimore was also 9-7, thats why the chargers didnt get to rely on head-to-head tie breaker.

Crazy how much players slid around on that old turf!

I mean, its been this way for the cowboys for 30 years. I think i learned to live with it 10 years ago.
I think if you arent a bills fan by geographical location. You are a bills fan, because they have to earn every recognition they get. The small town team mentality. Now we have 3 national tv games in 4 weeks, because we are 9-3. And the one game that isnt, is still being sent to a large audience (baltimore).

I love fantasy football, but its a lonely world. You win your league, and nobody celebrates you. I dont mind playing guys that the bills play against, but i dont tell the fan im sitting next to, that im happy the bills got scored on. Cause nobody cares that guy was on my fantasy team.
If the bills win, everbody i know celebrates with me. Thats more important.

If Richard Sherman is right. The ravens wearing white, might help us.

Its weird how it was kept so quiet. The bills never announced anything on their website. Local news outlets started talking about that tickets were going on sale, but never said where to buy them or what time.

What a great opening, "i think if you're a dallas fan your upset, but if you're a bears fans, you're rather pleased!"

Would the Panthers be interested in Coach McDermott? Would he be interested in going back there? I don’t think so and hope not. But........

Biggest game at this stadium in 20 years, or maybe longer even. Idk if we will get the chance for a home playoff game, but this is pretty close! Of course whoever loses still plays next week. But just in terms of two great teams on New Era Field at the same time. Amazing

Wait.....I’m confused.......do I get to chose?
Haha, i can hear howie mendel offering deal or no deal on the wildcard berth, but #1 seed is still on the board!

Im just going to appreciate the Bills Ravens game this weekend. It might be the closest we get to a playoff atmosphere at new era.
-
Nah, i have a new born baby. Im lucky i was able to keep my seasons.
Either way, i dont want to deal with heckling of other fans during a road playoff game. If we lose, i just want to turn the tv off and cry.
If its a home game ill be there. Ticket prices were released for them. Just so season ticket holders can be prepared if it happens.

Im assuming this is a joke, as Josh Allen is very similar playing style to Lamar Jackson. Our defense should be better prepared then anyone to handle him!

I really would love to live in a world, where the bills clinch a playoff spot, and have 3 weeks before they actually play that playoff game. Please take care of business tonight.
