Wondering if the loss of subs is mostly bade on illegal streams available for those who want to watch football but don’t care if they have to keep looking for a stream. Personally I want to know I have a reliable broadcast , have a quick way to access it and ability to pause , rewind or ff

One thing I liked with Directv ST using a receiver is that I could do PIP an and and watch 2 games either side by side or one in a smaller window. None of the streaming options support this and when using the streaming ST agai couldn’t watch one game on iPad and another on appletv or ST app. Hoping YouTube TV a will support multiple windows or at least multiple logins I a still holding out hope that I can still get a sat option but doubt whomever wins the stream will offer it. personally I would love to see Directv win in this and provide a streaming and satellite offering. It would greatly enhance the DTV stream product and integrate the two into a single offering.

Will be interesting what the do since YouTube tv supports multiple streaming on one account. NFLST limits one streaming user .

Did you try the app. When I went on spectrum receiver said nfl not in my package but I can upgrade however I go to the app and can watch it without upgrading. Hate this company but Mt service for tv n internet is part of my HOA fees so I am ok . Still have my DTV subscription even though I don’t have dish on new house waiting for a decision on what’s up with NFLST next season. I prefer DTV a since I am great at synching the radio and tv feed using the dish and my Sirius OTA a receiver. Last night I was able to synch to directv streamed NFL a net with WGR a feed since it didn’t cut off when game started.

You are in same boat as me I moved in oct so using the app to watch ST right now still paying for a receiver on cheapest plan possible till I hear final decision. As I said earlier the NFL would be stupid to not provide a non stream solution there are a lot of folks with Sat TV because of lack of bandwidth to support streaming or even any connection for TV service. Was really hoping something was announced soon tired of wasting 83 a month and using the service except for ST app. My new home has Spectrum for free it sucks but don’t need to deal with HOA etc on install of DTV a plus only reason I stayed with DTV is for football and will remain if they offer a package because it’s easy to sync the sirius radio feed with the DTV OTA a broadcast been doing this for 17 years now.

I believe the statement was they weren’t bidding for exclusive rights. I still think they will work a deal out to provide the option only reason I haven’t canceled yet waiting to see what happens. Prefer sat solution versus streaming since it’s easier to sync the radio feed.

That’s why I believe there will be a streaming option and directv customers will be also able to utilize on legacy dishes.
