  1. They can use ETN and stay in the game. Take the pressure off Lawrence on this next drive.
  2. That's such a pretty drive... Any other time of the year. Lol
  3. Get your red hot presale Bengals in Cincinnati AFCCG tickets right here, stupid mofo https://www.ticketmaster.com/cincinnati-bengals-v-tbd-afc-championship-cincinnati-ohio-01-29-2023/event/16005D82C5EC540C
  4. I have a thread on this coming. I think Josh may have inadvertently let out why he plays more chaotically during 1pm games. On this week's Kyle Brandt cast, they got into the weeds on Josh's pre-game throwing up habit. To the point where Kyle asked him what his puke looked like. And Josh said he doesn't eat before 1pm games. Josh said "hungry warriors fight harder." I can't help but wonder if his mental processing is sharper in late games bc he's not playing on an empty stomach? Dude better eat before the 3pm game this weekend dammit!
  5. And just in case any of you Bengals fans are driving up to Buffalo for the game this weekend, don't let a little snow disaude you. It's a beautiful drive! Just follow this map to the football stadium and enjoy the game! https://g.co/kgs/qzVurr
  6. For a wr that has the deepest average targets in the league, he's going to have a lower catch % than short route running receivers. And I don't disagree that he needs to be more consistent. I think he needs to catch 10-15 more passes per season based on 100 targets. I don't know how difficult of an improvement that is, and how challenging it would be for him to maintain that level of improvement season to season. But I'm not ready to write him off.
  7. Gabe's tied at 15th this year in TD receptions with Tyreek Hill, Tee Higgins and Devonta Smith. He's around 30th yards, in the Cortland Sutton, Mark Andrews neck of the woods... What metrics are you using to determining what constitutes a good #2? I think he needs to catch 10-15% more of his passes, which amounts to about 1 more catch per game to have a respectable catch %. He was targeted 83 times this year. How many targets should a #2 have?
  8. Yeah, but that means paying a 3-3 nickel with Klein on the edge. I'd like to see it, but I don't see the Bills sitting their LDE to do so.
  9. Imo bc they are committed to 4 down lineman. I think Klein could play strong side edge against the run and drop into coverage on passing downs. The Bills haven't really used a hybrid OLB/DE since Lorenzo Alexander. The Ravens run a 3-4, so it's much easier personnel wise to drop their OLB's into coverage than asking a 4-3 DE to cover consistently... Do you want Groot covering the flats or rushing the passer?
  10. I think @Big Turk has a really interesting thread on turnovers. And I think there's something it. Because the Bills punt so much less than most teams, and have the highest 3rd down conversation rate, and go for it on 4th down... they steal about as many more possessions as they turn the ball over. And then when you add the turnovers the Bills force, the problem is mitigated. Sure zero turnovers is ideal, but they make up for it in ways that aren't usually accounted for.
  11. That game doesn't carry over to this game. Those were all scripted plays.
  12. It was impossible not to roll into Josh Allen's legs. And had it not been for JA17's tree trunks, Hendricks may have rolled right off the edge of the earth. Hendrickson may owe Josh for saving his life!
  13. There was no way on earth he could have stopped himself from rolling. Reminds me of this:
  14. Are you betting on that? Another 3 dollars 😂 Elam held up pretty well against Hill and Waddle. I'm not suggesting we play man all game. I just see offenses having the most success against our D when they play zone without ever getting their eyes on the receiver running through their zone.
  15. I wonder if Cinci is going to stick with the 2 high shell after watching the sometimes success plays the Dolphins had with Cover-0 and Cover-1 blitzes? I think they will. Much like the Bills they're a base nickel D. Even against our jumbo package with Bobby Hart. I'd love to see us commit to a balanced rushing attack against their light box. The more we stick to the run, the better play action will work. On D, we need to effect Burrow. With their depleted Online can we get consistent pressure with 4? Would love mix in Milano / Edmunds blitzes, Taron off the edge. Lots of simulated pressure. But I hate it when we blitz and half of our players drop into soft zones with eyes on the QB and never look at the recievers. I'd like to see more zone matching coverage than 3 guys covering empty blades of grass with no receivers within 20 yards of them... And I really hope we see a lot of Elam matched up against either Chase or Higgins. Let Elam cover!
  16. CBS's broadcast cameras aren't even 4k.
  17. No it's not. The logic that the Bills v Chiefs game is at a neutral site is because they played a different amount of games and have the same number of loses. The Bills and Bengals played the same # of games and the Bengals have more loses.
  18. Aikmen saying it was a non contact knee injury while they show the replay of him getting closed lined in the neck was absurd.
  19. Or constipated?
  20. Four straight 3 & outs to start the game.
  21. I wish there was a way for teams to be penalized negative points, and if both teams finish negative they both lose. Cause both these teams deserve to lose.
  22. And still, he was consistently being folded in half and pushed into Burrows lap. I don't know if Jackson Carmen in any good in pass pro, but he can't be weaker against bull rushes.
  23. Yeah, just read the rule. Or does clarify things a bit. To complete the catch he has to make a "move common to the game." Which I don't think he does. Though the rule says taking a 3rd step counts as a move common to the game, they've ruled no catch this year after 4 steps and then the ball moves when they go to the ground... So assuming the catch wasn't completed, by rule he doesn't have to get two feet down again after a loss of control. It's no catch if he's touching out of bounds when he re-establishes control. But if he's touching in bounds when he re-establishes control it's a catch after he survives the ground. It's much closer to a catch than I thought, there would have to be a camera angle showing part of his foot touching out of bounds when we re-establishes control.
  24. Cause he lost control of the ball before completing the catch.
