  1. One of the knocks I've read on Harrison is that he has borderline strength and he'll get consistently pushed into the qb's lap by bull rushes. Any truth to that?
  2. I never understood the pick. Maybe Bernard will prove us wrong. But knowing that Edmunds future was uncertain, I would have taken Leo Chenal with that pick (if I was determined to add a LB).
  3. If I remember correctly, I thought Beane was pretty clear that Bernard was taken to backup Milano. That he's a WIL in the Bills system?
  4. Our new Mike! I heard we're switching to a base Dime formation.
  5. We should have kicked Cordy Glenn to Guard and drafted Mason Rudolph. I kid, I kid...
  6. Sure, but we're talking about a potential #1 wr in the shape of a TE. There's not that many of them. And I'm not saying Kincaid is that. But I'm not passing on a guy who can put up 100 receptions, 1000 yards and 15 TD's a year bc he isn't an all pro blocker.
  7. No, that's a bonus. The thing that makes Kelce and Gronk great is their ability have over 1,000 yards receiving and double digit TD's per year... Like #1 wr production in the passing game. If Diggs was a great blocker nobody would say his blocking is what makes him great.
  8. I think you pick Kincaid in Rd 1 if you believe he has Travis Kelce / Zack Ertz potential of being a future #1 or #2 receiving option.
  9. I'm thinking if Sherfield replaces Taiwan, and our 2nd gunner comes from the secondary depth, that may mean we can carry 7 wr's.
  10. I think there's going to be plenty of 3 tech guys available in the 4th round this year too that have just as much of a chance as working out as any DT rated as a 2nd rounder this year.
  11. Owen Pappoe is in that freak athlete category. At 6'1", 225, he'll have to put on 10 pounds to play Mike. But a 4.39 40 and 29 reps of 225 make him faster and stronger than Devin White. I haven't taken the close look that he deserves, but I'm very curious about this guy.
  12. No, looks like he replaces Taiwan at gunner and Kummerow as a blocking wr. Can play in the slot and outside and contribute to offense. He's like a wr #5/6 that also gets rid of a roster spot for just a special teamer.
  13. I do think there's a chance that Pappoe is cut from the Devin White, Nick Bolton cloth. But I wouldn't trust him going into the draft without a FA vet in place. If we don't have a Mike, I think it has to be Campbell. In that case, you have to hope to trade back. If Beane can work some magic and land Campbell, Bergeron, Tippman and Hutchinson in the first four rounds it would be an amazing draft.
  14. Xavier Hutchinson deserves 3rd round consideration.
  15. Agreed, but it doesn't seem like a McBean thing to do. It would be a bit surprising if they don't sign a vet with at least starting experience at Mike.
  16. I was going to post the same thing... But he did sack Watson in the playoffs, and then was the other half of the Milano missed sack sandwich later in the same game.
  17. Campbell not Crawford? Have you taken a look at Pappoe? I don't think he's the kind of prospect that McD would be comfortable with penciling in as starter. But I'm on the fence about whether he can be a starter at mic.
  18. I'm talking 7th round. And only if we trade back and end up having more than 6 picks. Be a lot cheaper than signing a vet FA.
  19. I saw that in PFF's rating. And the name kind of rang a bell. But am not sure if he's as good as that rating. Looks to be a Nigerian Londoner, came to the US at 13 and played hs football. Has only last season as a starter. Seems interesting, I wonder if the Raiders are trying to bring him back?
  20. This is a really deep RB class. There's a half dozen or more guys that will be available in the late rounds that could instantly contribute. I like Motor, obviously. But the price needs to be right... Here's one big guy to check out:
  21. The Bengals line got so much better when he was out of the lineup. He looked like a cream puff.
  22. Is the RT Jerome Elumenore better than Quessenberry or Spencer Brown?
  23. I think they might just be saying this right now so everyone knows Saffold's out. Our running game works best in pin and pull concepts when we get our athletic lineman on the move out in space. That's where McGovern is much better in his run blocking. We had a RG who was actually pretty good in the straight ahead power run game. Cody Ford. I'll take a top 15 pass protector who's good on the move over a power blocker who gets blown past in pass pro.
  24. He's the day 1 starter at RG. His pass protection is rated better than some of the top guards in the league, like Quinton Nelson. His run blocking on the Cowboys power game is bad. But his run blocking in space and on the move is much better. Which is why they used him as a FB. He'll be better run blocking in the Bills system, and he may be the best pass blocker on the team. I'm all for drafting an OT and OG/C early. Don't get me wrong.
