  1. Reed really blew it not retuning that int for a TD.
  2. Three pick six's could win it for the Jets.
  3. I'm going to have to ask you to come in on Saturday too, umm k?
  4. Don't count out the possibility of a Jets defensive TD. The Dolphins may need 10 points to win.
  5. Saleh letting everyone know it's going to be a longggg day.
  6. Act now and we'll throw in a special DVD box set featuring the 10 hour docuseries "The Sailboats of Lake Erie".
  7. It took Beasley until his third year to get to 10ypc, and 4th year to get to 50 catches. Overall, Kincaid's rookie season has already been better than Beasley's first two years in the league. An yeah, they still have some training wheels on. The question for Kincaid is how much and how quickly he'll continue to grow in the final third of the season. What his stats are at the end of the year are less important to me than seeing him maintain a consistent level of production against what will end up being the toughest competition in the league. With that said, if his production goes down over the next three games against three elite teams I don't think anyone should be shocked or lose hope in his ability to turn into a consistent 100 catch per year guy with over 10 ypc.
  8. Keenan Allen ran a 4.71, and Cooper Kupp ran a 4.62. There's many more examples of elite possession receivers running in the elite TE range for 40's. Over the last 5 weeks Kincaid has performed at an level that would average over 100 catches per year. I know they line him up inline from time to time and ask him to block. But he really has the potential to be considered a top tier possession receiver.
  9. You can say that again!
  10. Random observation, this has to be the most limited receiving corp that Mahomes has ever had.
  11. And now Deep Thoughts, by Jack Handy: One thing Ken Dorsey likes is to be tricked. For instance, I was going to take Dorsey to Disneyland, but instead I drove him to an old burned-out warehouse. "Oh, no," I said. "Disneyland burned down." He cried and cried, but I think that deep down, he thought it was a pretty good joke. I started to drive over to the real Disneyland, but it was getting pretty late, so I dumped him out on the curb.
  12. Kincaid has passed Davis as the #2. And Shakir is making a case for himself to be given #3 level targets.
  13. The site crashed last week when about a half a million sleeper cells popped up from a multi-year hibernation in order to express (the only thing they came to the board for) their Bills loathing.
  14. I understand not comparing Daboll to Shanahan in this scenario. I do think the Reeves to Elway as McDermott is Josh comparison may be more apt, if not exactly identical. And I totally forgot Wade's season as Broncos HC.
  15. When the "fire McD" topic came up after 13 seconds, I mused if the Bills were in a similar situation that Denver was in with John Elway and Dan Reeves. Reeves was a great coach, but couldn't get over the hump. Reeves fired his OC as a scapegoat, and when they canned Reeves, they brought back his fired OC to replace Reeves... The rest is history. The only guy I saw available at the time who could potentially be an offensive mind to take the Bills further than McD was Doug Pederson. And I think the job he's doing with Jax is proof that he's a solid offensive minded head coach. With that said, I'd rather have Daboll as HC than McD. Would rather spend assets to build the offense around Josh over the next 3-5 seasons than expend so much capital on a McDermott defense that has never played consistently at a championship level. I also like the idea of bringing in Ben Johnson and giving Josh all the advantages that are being afforded to Jared Goff. That is to say, designing and offense that makes it easy on the QB. That leverages play design to scheme guys open instead of relying on a read and react / option route approach. I also hope we can get a top 5 wr in this upcoming draft. Someone that has that true #1 potential in all aspects of his game...
  16. More like high negative
  17. Sounds like management material to me!
  18. That felt like a prime drought area loss right there. And to be honest, so is my reaction. How high do we have to draft to get a true #1 wr this year?
  19. I enjoyed watching him play a key role in beating the Bengals today!
  20. #1 in yards per carry when running from under center. #24 in the league when running from shotgun... The shotgun run design being called the worst in the league.
  21. This is really interesting. Over the last 3 weeks Kincaid has had - 8 receptions for 75 yards - 5 receptions for 65 yards -10 receptions for 81 yards That averages 7.5 receptions and 73.5 yards per game. If he were to match that average level of production over a 17 game season, it would amount to 130 receptions and 1,250 yards. Not saying that he is or isn't. But if this three game stretch isn't an anomaly, then we're talking 1b type numbers. It remains to be scene what happens if / when defenses start game planning for him. But this is good progress for his development.
  22. If Kincaid were to keep up the average level of production he's posted the last three weeks over the course of an entire season, he'd be looking at 130 receptions and 1,250 yards. That's the type of production you expect from a #1 receiver. Not saying he's going to keep it up, but here's hoping!
  23. I thought that too, but recently discovered there is no certainty or consensus amongst historians.. And that the horse meat / Buffalo fib is one possibility there is some evidence for. As is a theory that the documented name of native chief that lived on the Buffalo River had the name in the native tongue for "Buffalo" because he looked like a big hairy Buffalo.
