  1. I understand not comparing Daboll to Shanahan in this scenario. I do think the Reeves to Elway as McDermott is Josh comparison may be more apt, if not exactly identical. And I totally forgot Wade's season as Broncos HC.
  2. When the "fire McD" topic came up after 13 seconds, I mused if the Bills were in a similar situation that Denver was in with John Elway and Dan Reeves. Reeves was a great coach, but couldn't get over the hump. Reeves fired his OC as a scapegoat, and when they canned Reeves, they brought back his fired OC to replace Reeves... The rest is history. The only guy I saw available at the time who could potentially be an offensive mind to take the Bills further than McD was Doug Pederson. And I think the job he's doing with Jax is proof that he's a solid offensive minded head coach. With that said, I'd rather have Daboll as HC than McD. Would rather spend assets to build the offense around Josh over the next 3-5 seasons than expend so much capital on a McDermott defense that has never played consistently at a championship level. I also like the idea of bringing in Ben Johnson and giving Josh all the advantages that are being afforded to Jared Goff. That is to say, designing and offense that makes it easy on the QB. That leverages play design to scheme guys open instead of relying on a read and react / option route approach. I also hope we can get a top 5 wr in this upcoming draft. Someone that has that true #1 potential in all aspects of his game...
  3. More like high negative
  4. Sounds like management material to me!
  5. That felt like a prime drought area loss right there. And to be honest, so is my reaction. How high do we have to draft to get a true #1 wr this year?
  6. I enjoyed watching him play a key role in beating the Bengals today!
  7. #1 in yards per carry when running from under center. #24 in the league when running from shotgun... The shotgun run design being called the worst in the league.
  8. This is really interesting. Over the last 3 weeks Kincaid has had - 8 receptions for 75 yards - 5 receptions for 65 yards -10 receptions for 81 yards That averages 7.5 receptions and 73.5 yards per game. If he were to match that average level of production over a 17 game season, it would amount to 130 receptions and 1,250 yards. Not saying that he is or isn't. But if this three game stretch isn't an anomaly, then we're talking 1b type numbers. It remains to be scene what happens if / when defenses start game planning for him. But this is good progress for his development.
  9. If Kincaid were to keep up the average level of production he's posted the last three weeks over the course of an entire season, he'd be looking at 130 receptions and 1,250 yards. That's the type of production you expect from a #1 receiver. Not saying he's going to keep it up, but here's hoping!
  10. I thought that too, but recently discovered there is no certainty or consensus amongst historians.. And that the horse meat / Buffalo fib is one possibility there is some evidence for. As is a theory that the documented name of native chief that lived on the Buffalo River had the name in the native tongue for "Buffalo" because he looked like a big hairy Buffalo.
  11. You know what's funny, there's no consensus on how the city of Buffalo got it's name. One of the theories is that during one brutal winter, some Frenchmen that were amongst the original Europeans in the area said they were headed out to hunt Buffalo. Apparently their whole camp was starving and freezing... And they just went around the corner, killed a horse, cut up the meat... Brought it back and said they got themselves a Buffalo. Who knows for sure, but lying about horse meat may be the reason it was named Buffalo, NY.
  12. The 2016 primary was stolen from Bernie.
  13. Laces out Dan!
  14. Can you grab the INT and show if Kincaid was as wide open as one of the later replays seems to show? I also saw Diggs wide open on short routes over the middle on 3 different 3rd and short or medium plays. And Josh never looked his way.
  15. The TO is 10 times more valuable than the 10 yards.
  16. Except when Diggs is wide open on 3rd down.
  17. Diggs has been wide open a bunch, he's not looking at him.
  18. Diggs wide open again on 3rd down. At least the third time Josh failed to complete a pass on 3rd down with Diggs wide open over the middle. Not even looking for Diggs on any of those failed plays.
  19. Diggs has been wide open on short over the middle routes with a LB covering him on two plays where Josh was sacked. It's like the taunting penalty ruined Josh's ability to play QB after the first drive.
  20. We got a stop! Gotta capitalize and tie the game.
  21. Get Dodson off the field. I'll live with Dorian Williams mistakes. He would have hit Mixon in the backfield on that play instead of just standing in the end zone and watching him run for a TD.
  22. Does Lucky Lenny have Lucky Luciano's mug shot tattooed on his thigh?
  23. Just looked it up. He averaged just under 40% in his 8 regular season games. Then about 20% of snaps in their 3 post season games, including the Super Bowl.
