Too many people are looking at the Chargers blowout loss last week like that's who they are. That was their worst moment. They have 5 wins. And 6 losses by 3 points or less to Miami, Dallas, Detroit, Green Bay, Tenn and the Bills. They've been competitive for the entire season, and Stick has played well. I thought it was going to be tight early, and expected to see the Bills wake up in the second half and cruise to a 10-14 point W. The 3 TO's gave them 13 of their 22 points... Self-inflicted yet again... But against a team fired up after major embarrassment who were close enough to potentially win 11 games up to this point in the season.

I have a sinking suspicion that will change quickly after they meet the 9ers this week.

I don't think that's it. Five days rest vs eight days of rest this late in the season is a major equalizer.

I'm not surprised that the Bills started slow and the Chargers were fired up after last week. Now the Bills are awake, the Chargers have saved face, and the Bills will dominate the 2nd half.

I think this is going to be a lot closer than people think, at least early on. The extra rest and embarrassment last week is real.

If the Bills win the next 2 and lose to Miami the chances of making the playoffs sit at 70%. That can all change based on the results of numerous games tomorrow.
