  1. Maybe you should go back and watch Big Ben's first two seasons and see how conservative they played. Josh is young and still developing. McD is playing smart football. You want Josh is be a fifth year player in his 2nd season. I get it. Buy a time machine and travel to 2023. You also want Josh to be a seasoned vet in his 2nd year. You should also buy a time machine an travel to the year 2025...
  2. The lack of emotional control and inability to see the big picture is hilarious in this thread.
  3. Watt made a killer play... Time to stop them and get the ball back.
  4. Can you post a picture of the axe you have to grind, I'd love to see how big it is.
  5. A turn over there gives them 3 points. They aren't scoring again this game unless it's their defense.
  6. Why don't you start a "season's over" mock draft thread and post there for the rest of the game.
  7. Pittsburgh isn't scoring again tonight unless it's there defense. I'm happy. Just win baby.
  8. Yeah totally, the Bills should just retire at halftime... Please.
  9. He had a LB spying him right in his throwing lane. It did need to be a fastball.
  10. I've thoroughly enjoyed not looking at who needs to lose to who at all. It feels good to be 95% sure the Bills are getting in no matter what other teams do.
  11. You probably shouldn't watch the game. Maybe knit a scarf?
  12. Omg the Bengals suck. The DT didn't even try to tackle White on the screen. He was going 1/2 speed and just feel at his feet. Wtf
  13. Of course I knew they've only had 3 coaches. It blew my mind that it's been 50 years. I'd love to see half of that organizational consistency for the bills over the next decade.
  14. Over the last 50 seasons of the NFL, from 1969 to 2019, the Pittsburgh Steelers have had only 3 Head Coaches. Chuck Noll (1969-1991) Bill Cowher (1991-2006) Mike Tomlin (2006-Present) Without looking, how many HC's have the Buffalo Bills had, and name them.
  15. Yes, but that's a really sharp angle throw to lead Beasley horizontally across the field. There's a high probability that Bease has to slow down to make the catch giving Humphries time to close the distance between them.
  16. Just watched the final play again. I disagree with the supposition that Beasely was wide open for a sure frist down. He was 6 yards behind the sticks and moving horizontally across the field, not vertically up the field. He has separation from Humphries, but there's no guarantee he doesn't close and make the tackle before the sticks. Brown was the right throw, and he should have made the play. It was a tough catch however, and the ball was a bullet. If Allen has more touch and arc on that throw to lead Brown into the end zone it's a TD. But he threw it on a rope. It beat Peters because of its velocity but Brown used poor technique and didn't make the play. Peter's doesn't touch the ball. It hits John Brown on his left hand, which he is using to shield Peters. But Brown doesn't have his right hand up to catch the ball, and it goes sailing right past into the end zone, end of game.
  17. I would not be shocked to learn that Brady's getting radio signals in his ear through the whole play for all these years from someone upstairs who can say what wr is about to come open at the key time needed to find them. Also wouldn't be surprised to learn that the Pats hack into teams radio coms in game.
  18. Exactly, that type of close loss to an elite team highlights some very specific personnel needs that can be addressed in the off season.
  19. It's pretty simple, does the team use positives in a loss to build on and get better? That's the important thing.
  20. They took a timeout and the play never happened. I wonder if there's a caveat in the rules that stipulate whether 12 men in the huddle can be a penalty in an instance where there's no play? I noticed this also. it was clearly marked down at the 8, then the "half the distance" penalty moved it to the 6. It reminded me of the play against the Pats when John Brown got the ball down to the 1, and the refs placed it at the 2 for 1s and goal.
  21. No, but he deserved to be mentioned as a finalist, amougst the best special teams players of all time.
  22. Michael Irvin shouted out post game on Thursday night football, when they announced that the special teams finalists would be revealed the following day, "that better include Steve Tasker!"
