  1. Yeah, no. He's a long term project. You either go all in or not at all. If you cut him you absolutely know he'll get a second chance with another team and you wiull be kicking yourself. I agree with doubling down. But it's Josh Allen's passing that needs to be developed. I want him running less, not more. He has the ability to make great throws, let's surround him by guys that get open and catch the ball. He can be a great passer once things slow down a bit more for him and he continues to mature. His brain has to grow into his body.
  2. He did. And I think he has the opportunity to learn from this and grow by leaps and bounds.
  3. Regardless if the ball was batted, three defenders had Josh wrapped up and moving backs, falling on his ass. He that been Singelatary that caught the ball, it certainly would have been ruled "in the grasp." The play should have been ruled a sack. No penalty yards should have been assessed.
  4. McDermott has to commit himself to mastering the offensive side of the ball as well as the defensive side. He needs to develop a killer instinct, and be able to direct the overall management of the Offensive game plan. I'd love to know who called the Frank Gore up the gut play at the end of the first half. If it was Daboll, McD has to veto that in the moment and realize that they have 3 shots at the endzone. Running Gore necessitates spiking the ball, and burns 2 shots. Several other instances where great Head Coaches would instinctively know the strategy needed to go for the jugular. McD needs to grow and learn in that regard.
  5. I think Bills fans are so used to losing that their happy when people get fired. As if that's the best part of the experience.
  6. The exact question was about Allen playing out of character and just throwing the ball up for grabs.
  7. He didn't call out Allen. His quotes are being taking out of context to generate clicks.
  8. An in control player could use that play in in last few seconds of a game. Kind of like the QB throwing it in the dirt. As long as there's a guy "in there area" of the lateral, you could just Chuck the ball out of bounce. Not that I think Josh was thinking that.
  9. No, in a week or two or three they will be training their bodies and trying to improve in order to come back and do it all over again. There's a level of sacrifice that most fans can't comprehend.
  10. Totally disagree. I didn't do squat but sit on my couch watching this game. Those guys have spent their whole lives giving their blood, sweat and tears to play a game that may take decades off of their lives. There's no way you can possible say that a loss means more to you than to them.
  11. Found it on the Bills website. https://www.buffalobills.com/video/sean-mcdermott-we-go-on-in-the-offseason-and-keep-working He was asked if he thought some plays Josh made were out of character from what we've seen since the Patriots game, just throwing it up for grabs ect. I don't find fault with McDermott's answer. I think it was honest, and it didn't come off like he was throwing Josh under the bus. The big headline from his presser that I would have led with is: McDermott says Bills need to convert more TD's and not settle for FG's.
  12. Did you watch the comments in context? I haven't yet, but intend to. I have a feeling his words are being taken out of context.
  13. How did the lateral lose the game? It stopped the clock because it prevented him from being tackled in bounds with no time outs.
  14. There's a big difference between criticism and negativity. On the boards, a lot of Bills fan negativity boarders on the extreme.
  15. This is the biggest reason I'm against fan negativity in general. The most emotionaly unbalanced will takes things to such extremes as sending messages to Cody Ford to kill himself after a big loss. It's not ok.
  16. It also stopped the clock and saved 15-20 seconds from running down.
  17. Would have loved some draws to Motor late in the 4th and in overtime.
  18. Actually, it stopped the clock. We would have lost 15-20 secs. Also, had Knox actually been able to catch it, he may have run for 20 yards. As sporadic as it seemed, it was better than getting tackled in bounds.
  19. The illegal grounding call was terrible. He was in the grasp forever. Never should have been a penalty.
  20. Idk, in the past that definitely would have been a live ball. But when the ball is kicked into the end zone now, as soon as it touches the ground it's dead now. So I don't see how that's a live ball.
  21. I just looked, it hit zero. But it was in the grace period they often allow. I'd say he snapped it about .8 secs after it hit zero.
  22. 3 shots. The run up the gut and and then the spike burned 2 plays.
  23. Why burn two shots and take only 1? That was terrible.
  24. That's a good TO from Josh. And also and example of when Daboll is indecisive.
