I do think they will improve this year with continuity. Ford will hopefully take a big step forward, and l think Beane is putting a lot of stock in Daryl Williams returning to form at RT and being an upgrade over Nseke. We shall see. But short of a catastrophic regression in Allen's play, everything isn't riding on next year. It may end up at the end of next season with the team realizing that they have to focus on improving the Oline as priority #1.

He averaged 2.85 seconds time to throw, the same as Russell Wilson and .05 seconds above the NFL average. This does not explain the inordinate number of times there were free rushers screaming at him causing him to run for his life. Yes, the line is vastly improved from where it was. But it's still the weakest link on the team imo.

The OL is the weakest link in the team. JA was pressured 33% of the time he passed, 4th worst in the league. And the line had monumental breakdowns in clutch moments late in the season and in the playoff game. Don't think Trent Williams is the answer though.

Not saying I have this kind of time on my hands, but you could do a fantasy redraft of players currently in the league, and then do a full on Madden simulation and see who's team wins... The draft would literally need to be 54 rounds though.

Well one cool and different thing about it would be you'd get to hear all of the players on the field. You'd hear them jawing, calling out audibles ect... It would be way better than having no season at all.

The only people who think Josh doesn't have room to improve are the people who are convinced he can't.

What is the short passing percentage of the leader? I can't find the list. I see an article that has Drew Brees listed as #2 in 2018 with a 73.8% accuracy on short passes. Without context, blasting Josh Allen for being 28th in short passing accuracy is meaningless if the #2 is 1.3% more accurate.

He made some bad throws, sure. He was also a Top 10 qb in accuracy on intermediate throws. And his short passing was at 72%.

The ref was dumb for treating it as a live ball. There is never a play in the NFL where a runner can toss a ball forward, hit the ground and be a live ball. Unless the toss is backwards the play ends the moment the ball hits the ground. Period.
