  1. Why not double down, 24-21 and then a pick six on the first play to make it 27-21?
  2. Some people are already trying to 😂
  3. I would have burned the 2nd TO there and got the D lined up right.
  4. That's exactly how the Rams got back in the game.
  5. You guys made me think a ton about this, and here's what it brought up for me - the best play in Bills history is yet to come!
  6. I mean, if we play a dime zone against them like we did to KC, begging them to run, and can hold them under 30 points as a result, the O can win it. It's not the game plan we really what as fans, but it is one that can work if our O can hold up it's end of the bargin.
  7. Totally. Lots of Dean Marlowe and Siran Neal as hybrid LB/ SS too.
  8. Weird, I was expecting this to be a thread about the Bills being a joke bc they are underdogs at home and how embarrassing it is to be a Bills fan.
  9. I agree, and if anything, NE's decision to try an onside kick gaving the Bills a short field was a major coaching blunder that handed us a short field and a TD.
  10. They were playing Safeties at LB that whole series.
  11. I was wondering how many passes we'd see Edelman throw on trick plays this game too.. Is he officially listed as Out?
  12. What's the Pats biggest weakness? Offense, Defense, special teams, blocking, passing, defending the pass, running, defending the run, tackling. Did I miss any?
  13. Yeah, I doubt the broker told Tre "you know what, we have a legal contract, but screw them." And if the broker were the one's who broke the contract without Tre's knowledge of the initial buyers, then Tre will be held blameless. Which is probably why he is not named in the law suit.
  14. I'm not against running the ball at all. We just have not been very good at it this year. I guess I don't really believe in Moss' ability to be that downhill runner, though I had very high hopes, and as much as I appreciate Motor's game (obviously) I think he's most effective in a change of pace roll, or with a zone blocking scheme that allows him to be patient and pick his hole. I think our OLINE is a bit lumbering, and lacking nastiness at the point of contact. I wish we could be at least as effective running the ball as throwing it. IMO, if you want a game plan designed to run the ball down the Pats throat, the Bills should probably dress their fastest back, who also happens to be 225 lbs.
  15. He doesn't want to diminish his perceived value while trying to trade him.
  16. Not if he keeps using the short passing game as an extension of the run.
  17. Madden has an online feature called Super Star KO. It's pretty fun. You pick 3 stars, and then each win you get to pick another star to add to your team. Here's the format. Each team gets one drive from their own 25. No kicking, no punts no fgs. Highest points win, have to go for 2. If it's tied, the ball gets put on the 50, and each team has 4 plays, alternating in a "tug of war." The opposing O gets the ball where where it was downed on the previous play. If one team scores a TD it's over. At the end of 4 plays each, what ever side the ball is on the team wins. So if your team has the ball for the last play, you have to get over the 50 yard line into the opponents territory to win.
  18. I think we sellout to stop the run, the opposite of the game plan against KC. Make Newton beat us through the air.
  19. Unfortunately, it's impossible for rookies to improve. You're either a Hall of Fame player in your first NFL game, or you deserve to be cut. Facts.
  20. I was actually exited to read a thread about strategy, and then it ended up being an elaborate way to jab Daboll. Interesting analysis on the tendencies though. Definitely have to use tendency breakers against the Pats. Their secondary is still great in coverage and extremely physical. Their D line can generate pressure up the middle. They've definitely lost quality at the line backer position. Belichick wrote the book last year on how to use stunts and blitzes to throw the Bills off, and Houston replicated that strategy in the playoffs. I think Beasley needs to be a hot route security blanket for Allen, use Diggs and Davis to stretch the field and use Beasley, the RB and Kroft to take what's available underneath. I don't see the Bills committing to run the ball, though there's a lot of tape from San Fran on how to exploit the Pats. I just don't think we have the personell. Josh is going to have to beat them through the air, take what the defense is giving them and find a way to kill their zero blitz / man coverage schemes when the opportunity presents itself.
  21. I mean, you'd almost think the board was here to talk about football. About the strategy and execution, about how to beat the upcoming team on the schedule. But alas, it's Buffalo, so the board is a giant group therapy session for grown men who don't know how to handle their own emotions.
  22. I read that in Gollom's voice, as if hoping everything about your team sucks is to Bills' fans with BBPD what 'my precious' is to Gollom... One could only hope doubt creeps into the minds of McD's most ardent supporters! Muhahahha!
  23. Same fans wold have demanded Cowher be fired 10 years before he won the Super Bowl, and would have demanded the next three coaches were fired too in the 12 years it took the Steelers to win it under Cowher.
