Should have snapped the ball with 15 seconds left and tried to get 10 yards. Call TO and let the FG attempt be the last play if regulation. Or, just stand their and let 10 seconds tick off the clock before you snap it.

I think you're misremembering the size of players in the 80's. The Hoggs had three starters in the 260's. The starting Center for the Raiders, who beat them in the Super Bowl, was 247lbs. NT's and DT's were way smaller than today. It wasn't uncommon for a DT to be 240-250lbs. And a ton of LB's were 210-220... It was really the massive 3-4 defenses of the early 2000's that made it hard to run. The size of LB's today are back to what they used to be in the 80's.
