Millions of people actually make their livelihood as creators on TikTok. Can't argue with the overall damaging effects of social media addiction. But the single reason not to kill TikTok is bc it instantly kills millions of American's jobs.

I have to admit, I came into this thread expecting to hear about the time you scored 4 TD's in a single game playing for Polk HS.

The big story is that a massive Red Note campaign has been launched to try to lure the 100+ million American TikTok users to the the Chinese app named after Mao's Little Red Book. This appears to be the first time China has allowed Americans to access Chinese social media? The campaign is claiming to reveal "the truth" about China that American propaganda has lied about. That being that Chinese communism is far superior to American capitalism in every way.
