  1. True. And that is the most important thing. But it is an easy pooch for an NFL punter, and kicking it into the endzone in that exact situation is a pretty bad play. He was good though.
  2. More than three. I think at least six. Almost everytime they moved before the snap it was very likely a binary choice for Allen, and if the Jets line up one way we run the play. If they line up another way, we switch to a pass. It never seemed like he was changing the play at the LOS after just about to run it. The just assumed the Jets would line up a certain way, and they did, which led to the passes. But I would bet that half of those 19 playes were called as runs with the binary choice built in.
  3. It's possible that there was somewhat of a pitch count on Bell, but what the hell were the Jets thinking not using him way more. We really couldn't stop him, especially in the passing game.
  4. I meant that there was no threat of a block. It wasnt that he needed to hurry to get it off.
  5. It's supposed to be the clock is stopped OB and then as soon as it is set is it now 25. As they do it it is 40 from the end of the play. But the Refs very often call plays down in bounds when they are not really down, and then keep it running in the 40 scenario.
  6. It didn't kill them, but the DiMarco and Lee Smith groupings was stupid throughout the game. We were playing the percentages but the Jets never bit or changed, so the result was, based on the pre-snap read, DiMarco was split out as a receiver against a LB versus against a CB if he wasn't on the field. But that trade off is a loser for the Bills, IMO. The Jets were never worried about the run, so DiMarco was always outside. We were have been much better off playing Foster or Zay or Sweeney instead of DiMarco, and having an extra DB versus LB.
  7. There was no rush as I recall.
  8. The Refs do that all the time in the NFL. The call the tackle in bounds even though the runner or receiver is not stopped until he is OB. It's a glitch that goes on all the time. IMO, they are advised to call it that way to keep the games and clock moving.
  9. It's an easy quick to get it to the 10. Only an average or decent kick to get it to the 5. In the endzone at that point is really bad. Although I was very happy with him and even surprised overall.
  10. I think that the first 15-20 plays being passes is a little over-played. It looked to me that Josh was given a binary choice on half of them. If the Jets line up one way it’s a run; if they line up another it’s a pass. And the Jets kept doing what they were doing.
  11. Way way more important to pin them back than one or two seconds of hang time.
  12. The first couple were pretty good. Last one was really bad to kick in end zone when we needed a good one. Terrible pooch.
  13. Yep. He’s fearless. Players love him and should. He doesn’t panic (excluding hero balls). I said elsewhere when it was 2nd and 17 I was thinking no problem. He’s got two plays. We were done the last 20 years with second and 17
  14. Darnold is pretty good. Does some stuff very well. I’d rather have Josh all things being equal.
  15. I really liked Singletary and glad we have him. I did think on both the first long carry and near goal line play, Shady scores on both of them. Great start for the kid though
  16. Never a worry. The difference to me is since Kelly, when it was 2nd and 17 the drive was over. I had no such fears on second and third and we got it. That idea is an enormous difference.
  17. Crazy Rich Asians must’ve blew your mind, huh.
  18. I say he gets cut before the season ends. He won't be getting the ball all the time. He will B word and/or Edelman will B word. AB will do and say something stupid and Bellichick will just say screw you, you're gone. Next idiot!
  19. Kids are not stupid these days. They want to at least see the candy BEFORE they get into the van.
  20. He was a model citizen in Buffalo.
  21. He’s going to be turning down Coach of the Year honors left and right.
  22. It's both. I agree with you that most racist comments are only bad based on intent. But there is not an equivalency of all things racist. In any way. It's like saying all adjectives are the same because they're all adjectives, but they're not. Punk is never a word of affection in any of its literal contexts. But you can call your little brother a punk and be affectionate, and yet if anyone calls him a punk you may get in a fight.
  23. It's a gross exaggeration to prove a point and show how stupid it is. Besides, look it up.
  24. Thousands have been killed and millions of fights have been started because of using the n-word. No one has ever broken a sweat after being called a cracker. But they are exactly the same.
