  1. That's not true. It was a hold in the middle of the play on Knox underneath. He didn't know that was going to be called when he looked to throw and threw it. It was a good close on the ball by the Jet.
  2. Because I saw it in a parallel universe. Duh!!
  3. Looked to me like he readjusted, then ran straight a step or two, and then decided to run out and avoid a potential hit.
  4. Why did Washington not just run it into the endzone? He didn't have to go OB.
  5. It's not if you just count running backs.
  6. The point is only that it had zero effect on the game. None. Four turnovers over the course of a game has an enormous affect. More than three. It was much, much more of a four turnover game than a three turnover game because the one that made it three had zero affect. And I don't mean that if the other team didn't capitalize it may have had no effect. That's not the same thing. It could not have had an affect of the game because of how and when it happened.
  7. And the first time he touched it he dropped it. He looked good overall though. Shady scores on two of the four carries imo.
  8. Brady has had about four bad passes already, for you inaccuracy freaks.
  9. It's still a turnover though because he dropped it and couldn't get the first down because of the drop. The same way an INT on fourth is still a turnover.
  10. Under NFL rules you cannot make that assumption even if it is 100% evident. You have to see the ball. I believe on the mlive carry as well as one early replay you could see him across.
  11. And yet it is the equivalent of a four plus turnover differential because it happened in that way at that time.
  12. I think there are more connections that one might first suspect.
  13. Don't care what anyone thinks, Josh Gordon is a great player and not a bad guy.
  14. There was an early view from the opposite side IIRC that showed it.
  15. Could be that touching the line means in the endzone, which would be the case either way. Although the NFL does have some contradictory stuff on some calls as to where the ball is versus where the feet or player are
  16. I remember watching him at Wisconsin his last year in college. His OL averaged about 6'5 or 6'6" and he just had an incredible knack of finding passing lanes. It never seemed to bother him, but he is a freak in a lot of ways.
  17. I will have to watch the game again but Mosley made a fantastic play on the pass breakup in the endzone. Did nothing at all on his TD (in fact he looked slow to react). He was pretty good the rest of the time he was in but the Bills were moving the ball with short passes the entire time he was in, and not even trying to run. When he was out, Singletarty ran four times total. Sure, maybe he would have made a difference but he was not dominating at all.
  18. It's funny but Russell Wilson doesn't seem to get a lot of balls batted down. Josh and Mike Glennon and some others do.
  19. There are reports that right after the game he actually kissed his sister.
  20. He was clearly well past the line with the ball before being pushed back.
  21. He couldn't. They have to review it in the booth because it was a scoring play.
  22. I didnt hear the announcers discuss this, and not that they are always right about these things, but to me it was very clear, both live and on replay that Gore's forward progress was 1-2 feet across the goal line. It wasn't even all that close as far as those things go. My only possibility is if on the replay the Refs could easily infer that Gore was well out of the endzone but didn't see the ball on that particular view. One view, IMO, showed he was clearly over. What was the explanation and what do you guys say? I wasn't even worried until the Bills were kicking off.
  23. There were a couple times when I saw something similar but was thinking how could they line up this way and not worry about Bell, versus Milano or Edmunds not quick enough in their reactions. He wasn't perfect and he missed a tackle or two as well. Just overall he made a bunch of plays.
  24. He was stopped. I don't think it was behind him at all. An only a little low, but that is sometimes by design. He needs to make that catch 19 of 20 times and maybe more. That pass should never ever be an INT.
