I really like the combination of the bruiser Gore and the scatback Singletary. Gore is still a beast, I don't care if he averages under 4.0 a carry, he's very effective.
Yep. That is a big part of his incredible combination of qualities. Some of them are seemingly contradictory but they are not. Like he has enormous confidence in himself but he is not cocky or a know it all and if anything is one of the first to say he has so far to go. He's both humble and has a big ego (not in a bad way but a good one).
Agree on all points except I thought the Giants were ridiculous for not running Barkley until we stopped him.
One of the best qualities of Josh and this team is the ability to pick up first downs after penalties or loss of yardage. It doesn't even matter how long it is. Daboll designed a bunch of good plays and called a good game outside of being a little too conservative in the middle, although some of that I put on McDermott. Overall a very strong game all around in all three phases.
That really was a nice play all around. And Zay tied his all-time record for YAC at 0.
I kid. I kid.
Not really. I commend him for getting wide open on a nice route. But every other receiver catches this on the run. He has to go down just to make sure he catches it and tackles himself.
I do them every week during the season (thanks to SDS). This year they are just coming out a little earlier in the week, like Tuesday afternoon I think. The News named it, "Voice of the Fan."
I think that a large portion of fans do not like him or want him as you say, and an equally large portion like him and want him they just do not want to see him on 50% of the offensive plays, and especially split out SO much because he is no threat. He's great on ST and a great process and locker room guy. I don't hate him at all, I just don't like that trade off.
