I don't hate Mayfield and think he is pretty good, but I also think he was overrated last year. He made a lot of nice passes for sure. But he is blessed with great skill players and a very good line and often had all day. He also threw a lot of terrible balls.

That’s exactly where I was. I even offered here keeping the twelfth pick and taking Lamar and then still having the other #1. But I wanted Rosen over Allen and I was skeptical of Darnold because he was a turnover machine. It’s really impossible to gauge these quarterbacks with any consistency.

Gore was excellent yesterday. Very glad to have him. The sideline view of him bulldozing the Giant linebacker back into the endzone was awesome.
