  1. What if Josh is playing this year, with Brown and a few other Bills? Nah, I wouldn't think of going either.
  2. It doesn't hurt to admit it, I watched Mahomes in college absolutely kill my team. My point is we had an absymal team last year on offense across the board. It also helps to have Andy Reed teaching him and running the offense, and Not McDermott, a WR coach and Daboll (who is decent but not the coaching that Mahomes is getting). Mahomes is well ahead of Josh without question right now, and QB is the most important position. I understand your point. But adding Hopkins instead of Zay Jones to Brown and Beasley?
  3. I like Mahomes a lot, but he did nothing with Kelvin Benjamin either. He doesn't have half the season he had last year if he is on the Bills. Probably less than half, with those OL, WR, TE, RB, blocking and coaching compared to his.
  4. But you were using it as a term of endearment?
  5. Dirt cheap. But no, the lousy game nobody cares about and nobody watches is set to be in Orlando for the fourth straight year, which shows you how nobody cares about it.
  6. I was thinking more like “Think strongly about it and no one gets hurt” but yours might work, too.
  7. I think the team may change it if we make them an offer they cannot refuse.
  8. Duh. It's our 47th province we bought from Greenland, like 5 or 123 years ago.
  9. For those who chose Mahomes, there is no doubt he is a great player so far in his career. To me, however, we have John Brown and Cole Beasley as our two main pass catchers. Do you want to add Pat Mahomes and Zay Jones to them, or Josh Allen and Deandre Hopkins. I think we are better with Allen and Hopkins.

  11. Mack is a good choice. Deandre Hopkins on offense would make them almost impossible to stop, even more than a top TE like Kelce or Kittle.
  12. Yup. What I like is some of the contrasts. Like he comes across as a simple, nice, almost goofy guy. And then on the field he's a quarterback who shoves linebackers to the field with a vicious forearm. He's a hero ball guy but he is winning with short darts. He's only started 13 or so games but he seems to play better in the clutch like a veteran. Plus I don't think people realize how terrible his teammates on offense were last year.
  13. It is until it is not. That is kind of the point, we should all enjoy what is going on now, while it is really good, even if it changes ten different times over the next several years. This is fun, and the ceiling is in the stratosphere. Again, it is not guaranteed, but it's possible. Being optimistic at this point makes your day and week and life a tad better.
  14. That fact has been cloaked in some way for a couple of decades up until now?
  15. Scott Law. You can't win if you don't play.
  16. John Brown. Consistently open and making plays. Made the game winning play in week one. Good short, intermediate and deep. Consistently very good both games. Very good in stats and eye test.
  17. Bellichick keeps a 3D printer in his office.
  18. Jalen Ramsey used to find out the name of the girlfriend of the quarterback he was about to face in college, and then send her crazy Instagram and IM messages. She would invariably go to her boyfriend and it often made the QB insane. That's genius. He stopped doing it when he got to the pros because he said that these grown ass men have wives not girlfriends, and they will shoot you if you go after their wives.
  19. More like the blind squirrel and the nut.
  20. I refuse to fall for agreeing with someone who has been consistently wrong for a decade.
  21. Ha. Thx. Settlers of Catan is a great board game, very entertaining to play with a bunch of people. It's been around for some time and becoming more popular lately for some reason. The column is educational!
  22. We can all call it the Croom TD because it is never likely to happen again.
  23. I would imagine that he is not "destined" to be there is implicit, and keeps it from implying that he is not ever going, but it is always a good strategy to be specific versus vague.
