  1. Yup. Josh had very little time. Yes he held it too long a few times and made some bad decisions. But he eludes guys right on him all the time that are sacks against most QBs.
  2. The Zay pass was not a normal play. He was running like crazy and at the last second saw Zay and threw it awkward right at the line of scrimmage. He missed it for sure but it was not like a dropback and missing an open WR.
  3. And yet if they didn't score it would be all on Josh. Not to mention that i hat I was referencing the plays that he made with his legs that the poster mentioned and I bolded.
  4. You're right. People should watch it again. Five minutes to go. We desperately need a TD. We had no momentum. And he just leads them right down the field. I believe all eight of our TDs have been 70+ yards.
  5. He converted a 3rd and 17 and a 1st and 20, something we would have been sunk with the last couple decades. And he does it a lot.
  6. I don't understand why this is not more obvious to people. It's a huge difference. In 14 or so starts he has five come from behind wins.
  7. The come from behind win makes it a B.
  8. Do you honestly believe they should have just soundly beat each of these three teams by 14 points or so and never have to come from behind in three games?
  9. I say B. The last scoring drive is way, way, way more important than the inexcusable INT. It's a win. Down with five minutes to go and they went right down the field. Plus he doesn't get enough credit for avoiding the rush and running. The first down he got running late only a couple QBs make if that.
  10. On the intentional grounding? Yeah, he was just trying to throw it away. The defender hit hit as he was throwing that stopped the ball from going further, which would have been just an incompletion. He could probably have thrown it further which would have negated the penalty. I just assumed he thought he'd get it away before being hit.
  11. I don't think Perry returns punts. He's the gunner type.
  12. Yup. There were two IIRC that he got away with throwing against the grain that somewhat rewards bad behavior. But the INT was just a brain fart. There is no way whatsoever that he should be attempting that pass. Just inexcusable. Especially under the game circumstances.
  13. Perry is worthless as a RB, good on ST. Yeldon is decent as a 3rd choice. But the fumble was a killer. I would have kept Shady myself. But RB is a weird position where you only play one at a time. That's why no one has three good ones. It's a tough choice.
  14. Who has three good RB?
  15. It's only because the ball didn't make it to the line of scrimmage. He could have thrown it away earlier but it was simply a case of the defender was on him and stopped the ball from going farther. It had nothing to do with a receiver in the area on that particular play.
  16. Because stats are not the story. Eluding the rush, running the ball, were as important as his passing. The pass blocking was pretty awful. But the plays he makes when other guys are sacked don't show up in the stat. We had 3rd and 17 and he picks it up. 1st and 20 and his athleticism helps get the first. Then when we needed him he came up big and we got a TD drive. That's good.
  17. Gore is extremely valuable. He had a very strong game today all day long. We need a breakaway guy to complement him but we haven't had a guy like that in a long time. He gets tough yards. He's dependable. He's good in short yardage and goalline. He's good at pass protection. Yeldon and Gore is not a great tandem, but Motor and Gore is a nice combo.
  18. Allen obviously made one horrible mistake but he had a good game. His escapability is underrated. The OL did not do a good job of pass blocking. He did it when he needed to. Every TD of the whole season has been 70+ yards I think. Eight of them. Then I don't know what the problem was. You want the wind in the fourth quarter if you are up, imo.
  19. If the Bengals deferred we had to chose to take the ball. If you choose the wind, they get both kickoffs.
  20. I like “Cumback Player of the Year” from above.
  21. I really have no clue how this all works legally, but common sense says they would have to prove how what he did undermined the public image. I don't see anything that would prove that. If it were another team, with a clean image, maybe.
  22. Signing him damaged the public's respect for the team more than anything he has done since the signing, they shouldn't win any arbitration.
  23. We will win the game, but the NFL will award the game, trophy and rings to the Pats.
  24. I didn't think he would last the season there but also didnt think he'd be gone this quick. Too bad he couldn't have wreaked more damage and ill-will.
  25. The bold is just false. And the Jets are pitiful because they don't have Darnold, Mosley, Williams and a couple others. They will likely get them back although mono could take a while. They are a .500 team with them, and a .200 team without. They had them against us for the most part.
