  1. I think he intentionally tried to go helmet to helmet. But... that said... his reaction to Josh being down could have easily been the same whether he did or didn't try to hurt him. I don't think that shows anything. I do think he tried to take off Josh's head.
  2. Wallace had an excellent game too and continues to impress. McDermott and Frazier, and Butler and Babich really know how to coach DBs.
  3. In general I agree with you that a lot of these hits the guys start to make the tackle and then the ball carrier lowers his head which makes it worse than it could have been. Like you, I would like to see it again. But when I watched the replay originally, not the live hit, it looked to me like he saw a Josh stopped and lowered his head to go right for Josh's.
  4. He sure did. He was great all game. The defense really did a great job of taking away three or four things the Pats like to do. I will, say, however, that not having Gordon or Edelman at 100% severely limits what they can do. They don't have the weapons they normally do.
  5. The fact you have Barkley in there is why you kick from the four. He can get you a fg at the end. He's hard pressed to get a TD there. I thought it was an easy choice to go for FG. And you do not under any circumstances throw to Zay Jones short of the goal line.
  6. Zay is practically worthless. He shouldn't be on the team. He's taking snaps from players that should be ahead of him.
  7. I'm not saying his intent was to injure. I'm saying that Josh was held up and he chose to lower his head to hit Josh in the helmet. He could have gone lower, he could have hit with shoulder. To me he was head hunting.
  8. Bojo is slow to get punts off. It was a bad snap and that combo made the block possible. He had two excellent punts to the five but another poor one late. The thing is you want your punter to be consistent. You don't want a guy that averages 45 yards with a 65 and then a 25. We need better.
  9. He led with his helmet. To helmet. It's the first thing that hit and Josh's head went shooting back.
  10. Every game and situation is different depending on the time, who you are playing, how your offense and defense are playing, etc. No such thing as you get to two you go. I'm an aggressive guy on plays like that, I often want to go when coaches don't, but I thought kicking it was the right call there.
  11. Overall an extraordinary game. The one TD drive was a perfect pass and great catch against excellent coverage. They were stellar.
  12. I agree overall. He's not good with time management and with timeouts. I said before the TD attempt you need to take the points there. The challenges were mindless. He does have the team ready though and he's a pretty good coach overall so far. It's a tough task consistently getting in game decisions right but he's not good at it yet.
  13. It's hard to know how much is Frazier and how much is McDermott but they surely are an excellent pair. They both know how to coach defensive backs that is for sure. I assume the game plans are mostly McDermott but it's hard to know. Frazier has been excellent though, especially today. They were calling a great game the whole time, and stopped both the run and pass all game.
  14. Thank you. Barkley is way overrated here. He could have won this game despite his glaring limitations but you don't want to rely on him more than a half or a game.
  15. Yep. That is intention to hurt. Classic example.
  16. It's hard to think of another player like him. What a player and a very smart signing by Beane and McDermott. I would have loved to hear the conversation between them and the scouts. But he's been terrific. Singletary could have really helped today although Yeldon was effective in the second half. .
  17. I don't know about that, there is something about that video that doesn't quite seem real to me.
  18. But if a superfreak athlete who wasn't on the field made great pre and post snap anticipation, ran all the way sideline to sideline and dove to make a spectacular fingertip catch, it could possibly have been. Just sayin.'
  19. I considered including the 64 Bills and I think they could have possibly beat the NFL champs in a single game one on one matchup, although it would have been hard. I was just going on the fact they went up against the entire league in 1990 and 1980 and seemed to be the very best team. In 1980, IIRC, they beat both Super Bowl teams as well as both Super Bowl teams from the previous (or perhaps next year). They lost in playoffs from a ridiculous string of injuries that would have crippled any team, including QB. They had a good rush game, pass game, rush defense, pass defense, and good coaching. That was a great team. The 64 and 65 Bills also had all of those things but it was impossible to say if they matched up with their NFL counterparts. It did appear that way, but those Packer, Browns, Colts teams were loaded.
  20. Yup. It’s called EAsports. And comes with cheat codes.
  21. That began to change in a big way after last week. I have read countless tweets from both writers/bloggers and other teams fans that have all basically said the same thing: I didn't think Allen was any good but he clearly is and has a ton of talent.
  22. She did but he knew nothing about it because he was at his girlfriend's place. Scumbag. It has to, and will be split approximately half this year and half next year.
  23. IMO in all the years of Bills football they were the best team in the entire league two times. 1990 and 1980.
  24. It has to be extremely impressive to you, regardless of the shenanigans, that this guy has gone to every game, home and away, for about 25 years.
