Thanks, Sailor. I know it’s a shameless lamp but hopefully a good read and entertaining. Appreciate it. -
Dr. Chandler#81’s concussion observations
Kelly the Dog replied to Chandler#81's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think you make a really good point. Impossible to say of course if he got a concussion early but he clearly got Bellicose Rungus. It’s easiest to imagine for me that it was nearly equal parts enormity of the game early, the undeniable ability of Belichick to confuse young QBs, and having been smacked in the head hard. That makes a lot of sense to me. Then he came out playing well in third quarter after settling down on all three. -
“Dropped passes” is a nearly worthless stat if you only count blatant ordinary catches, which they admit to. It’s all but saying all the passes each of us here should catch and not a starting NFL WR. What constitutes a drop to the average fan is wildly subjective.

Read, discuss, comment, gush, abuse, pick nits, quote, etc., on the head to head, tete a tete, mano a mano, helmet to helmet game. https://buffalonews.com/2019/10/01/buffalo-bills-new-england-patriots-josh-allen-bills-mafia/

Dawson Knox getting some top Rookie love!

He was out there a decent amount but I truly thought it was a mistake not to try to isolate or target him more in the second half. He's really a weapon with serious skills. -
Will offense operate better with Barkley next week?
Kelly the Dog replied to GG's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The quote I said twice was originally in a specific direct response to a poster who said Barkley is not going to throw interceptions and fumble like Allen is, and I rightly pointed out that he did both of them in one quarter of play. Do you think that Matt Barkley or Josh Allen, given one last drive the length of the field with three minutes to go gives the Bills the best chance of scoring a TD to win the game? Allen had settled down greatly in the second half. He was 6-6 on the scoring drive. Yes he still threw the one bad INT that was not an INT but he was escaping tackles and making better decisions and completing passes on the run. Several of them. -

Allen avoids that regularly. -

Yep. He’s slow and immobile. And it’s still an INT. Josh probably avoids the rusher and then looks downfield. What happens after that is anyone’s guess. -

In one quarter Barkley fumbled and threw an interception. That’s a higher rate on both than Allen. Just sayin.’ -
Why’s Allen not getting peterman like treatment?

I just actually smacked my own forehead with a heavy mallet. -

Actually he was trending toward stardom like as a sophomore. He was much higher ranked in his second last year than his last year of college, going from a first round pick to fourth. Because of his weak arm. He's always been the same.
