They have six WR on the active roster. It makes zero sense to add a seventh and then not activate him. They brought him up to play him. In practice he has been on the first team special teams for the first week. He is going to play.

Yup to all. The new guys are playing terrific. Mojo is very good all around. I thought Jokiharju was awful in the preseason and he has been solid. Victor is going to score 30. Even the third line is working and fourth has been exactly as you want. The PP is filthy and Hutton is solid. Obviously only two games, but there is some talent here. Risto is even valuable. And Miller is a solid pairing with Dahlin who is just sick

Olofsson is going to score 30 goals playing with Jack and Reinhart as well as the PP. That first PP is a killer group. Totally different team under Krueger, plus the new guys make a huge difference. They're really fun to watch right now.

I don't think you see much at all. But he was a second round pick, he had a great college career, he caught seven touchdowns last year, he can block. I wouldn't do it but some may.

After reading a few more reports, I think we're looking at Foster inactive, due to injury and not demotion. He went from full participant Thurs to limited yesterday.

If they are trying to phase Zay out and maybe trade him for a low draft pick it's probably not good to make him inactive. But that is a lot of conjecture. It's what I would do but McDermott and Beane have their quirks.

If I had to guess, with Roberts back, I think that McKenzie is the one not activated.

It's impossible to imagine, for me, with six WR already on the roster, that they would add him and then not activate him tomorrow. So either Zay, Foster or McKenzie is likely inactive. I hope it's Zay. We don't know if Foster is 100% although he has been practicing.

That wasn’t my main point. I brought up those stats because you’re a big stat guy. The reason he was so good a prospect is because everything the scouts look for he excelled at. Except size.

I was only talking prospect, which is what we were discussing. Wilson has it all. He has great technique, footwork, ball-handling, running, scrambling, can throw accurately running to either side with tremendous velocity, was smart (learned the Wisconsin offense in two weeks), etc. Virtually everything you want in a prospect he had in spades. Except height. Everyone including the Seahawks thought his height would affect his play in the NFL to some degree, and everyone was obviously wrong. Everything else he has in spades.

WAY better. Wilson was a better version of what he does now in college. He was better as a senior than RGIII who was said to have one of the best seasons of all time that same year. He did everything textbook, he was just short, his ONLY fault and the only reason he wasn't taken at the very top. You like stats so much. Mahomes averaged 8.5 per attempt, Wilson 10.3. Wilson threw 33 TDs and 4 INTs. Mahomes had a 157 rating and Wilson's was 192. Mahomes completed 67% and Wilson 73%.

I love watching Wilson, too, but he was a WAY better prospect than Mahomes. He did everything well except grow. I agree with you about the streetball idea, although Mahomes may be an abberration.

I watched him a few times. He did have a great senior year but stats didn’t tell the story. That was the knock on him. He was erratic. He was wild. His streetball game wouldn’t translate. I didn’t just mean his passing was erratic and that’s probably my bad. His game was erratic. He would have been way higher rated if he wasn’t.

Mahomes was a big question mark. World of talent but very erratic in college. Possible we take him but unlikely. I think the strategy from the start was to get the extra first for McD’s second year to draft a QB high.

“Full” participant today after two days of “limited” suggests to me he’s playing.

I personally do not think you can fault a guy when in games other players on his team are catching 30-50-80 yard touchdowns and your team is consistently scoring. It does not, in any way, mean you are not doing your job or disappearing. The decoy idea is a big laugh around here but I defy anyone to watch the Bills, Rams, or Cheifs games in total in All-22 and argue that safeties are not almost always aware of Watkins and defenses go out of their way to stop him.
