  1. I just don't see how it's possible with Houston.
  2. I like Dak a lot. I would have liked the Bills to draft him. And he's played great. But I think he my get exposed in this game. He's not that great yet even though he has played great. Having the run game and the OL protected him. Yes, he's had 1-2 drops already but a few bad balls as well. And having to come back I think we are going to see a different guy. Possible he proves me wrong and he's really that good.
  3. No, I agree with you. I was ridiculing the few posters on here that were insisting that there was some playoff ultimatum but somehow Whaley talked his way out of it. To me that was nonsense. No. If the call was right, Whaley would have been fired.
  4. They made a new rule this year. You can talk your way out of ultimatums. I think it was Obama that forced the law on it. Rex just couldn't talk his way out of it the way the wizard communicator Doug Whaley did.
  5. "All this league needs is about 289 more rules to really lure new viewers." - Tyler Dunne. Rodgers is just ridiculous.
  6. I think he could have easily intercepted that ball. He was tracking it all the way.
  7. I can't wait for that bumper sticker, "The Bills Are Due in 2022!!"
  8. I even like Dak and Elliott and still cannot root for Jenny Jones.
  9. They can't devote 30-35 m to the position.
  10. I'm sure he figures that he is getting old in the tooth and has X number of years left and it's not many. That's a given. IMO, however, he has two or three at most playing years left regardless of whether he is 36 or 38 or whatever. It's the wear and tear. So it may be the best thing for him to almost redshirt this year as a backup to Dak, rarely if ever play, and get his body the rest. Then play his two or three more years. If something happens to Dak, he's suddenly the Cowboys savior again next season.
  11. What does children's footwear have to do with this?
  12. Williams will not be there but you cannot turn him down. He's too good a player. We need a safety more but that doesn't really matter. It's a position of great need and he's as close as you can get as a can't miss player. Just below Sammy. That said, the draft is after Free agency. So if for some reason we are able to resign Woods or get a top level WR who is a solid #2, then and only then consider the safety. Especially if AW is coming back.
  13. I would take Gordon in a heartbeat. Although I'm not sure McDermott would in his first season as HC trying to instill discipline and a winning culture. I'm a believer that winning breeds a winning culture and only winning does, so again, I would take him. I just don't see the Bills doing it this year. Terry and Kim probably would not be against it.
  14. I think the Broncos, who would be nuts not to pick him up. He would be perfect for them. They wanted him before, two different times I believe. And while yes, I know Kubiak isn't there anymore, he would have had to talk Elway into it, and the Broncos offered him more money plus tried to trade for him this year.
  15. I would think it's more likely he thinks he could win with TT, considering the QBs he has worked with and recently with Alex Smith.
  16. It was Brady's second year.
  17. Totally agree, he's a reference maker. His annotations and ibid are extraordinary.
  18. It depends on whether or not he likes and wants his job. If so, then yes.
  19. Carpenter missed one in OT. That's why we didn't win. The Dolphins kicked a FG after a 57 yard run, which I guess was Tyrod's fault, too.
  20. So you're saying that if Steve Carpenter makes a 45 yard field goal Tyrod is good, but if he's misses, Tyrod is bad. Got it.
  21. Packers do it all the time. And they had blocked AVP from interviewing with the Jags. http://archive.jsonline.com/sports/packers/packers-often-deny-assistants-permission-to-interview-with-other-teams-ks87jo8-185390861.html
  22. That's not what I was talking about. I specifically referred to you saying the Bills were 10th in scoring and that a third of the league were better than them.
  23. Again, for all intents and purposes, with Tyrod the Bills were seventh in the league in scoring this year, and sixth in scoring once Lynn came on. That is a more accurate number when gauging how much they scored. They also had only two defensive TDs, the lowest in the league, plus crappy special teams, plus a crappy defense that gave up long drives and didn't get many turnovers or give the Bills good field position.
  24. That's how I feel. The doctors know his situation. They aren't going to let him play unless they are very confident he is not going to have any real permanent threat. It's almost impossible for any of those guys to give up the game unless they are forced to. But the doctors aren't going to tell him it's okay if it's not.
