Maybe Beanie and Cecil want to be judged by their peers.

Maybe. But it's a message board. Its reason for existence is for spewing opinions. It's like the idea of "Innocent before proven guilty." Everyone believes that should be the case. But only in courts. You can and do make and say opinions on whether people are innocent or guilty before a verdict if you are not part of the court process. Especially on a platform like a message board.

Then you cannot say he is good or smart or knows what he is doing either.

Funny how stats can be so misleading. Rosen has terrible stats. And has the fumble charged against him. But if you were just scouting him as a prospect for the first time I would say wow. Good size. Great arm. Good release. Looks around the field. Looks in control. Moves okay. Throws pretty accurate. Great prospect.

Not true. It's very legitimate to think one thing after watching last year and now thinking something completely different, even a polar opposite, after watching him healthy for four games this year.

So is Kaepernick. Very smart guy. Doesn't stop him from saying stupid things at times.

Yup. It was a party at my friend's house in Newport Beach. There were about 15 USC players there and about 20 absolutely knockout USC coeds. The ohmygod types. He had his shirt off, drinking beers, with a big beer gut and they were all over him. A gf of mine said something about how unattractive that was. Ha. But his teammates seemed to love him. I didn't see anything at all that made me think he was a jerk. None of us could believe how out of shape he looked though.

I think it was dumb. I would not have done it. At all. Hate it in fact. But it's not indefensible. Barnyard is better at catching the ball out of backfield and better on ST. If you are thinking game day 47 and Shady is healthy it's not inconceivable to think Tolbert and Banyard can back him up, plus Jones if he's your gunner.

This doesn't automatically mean anything but I was at a party he was at on July 4 and he looked woefully out of shape. Plenty of time to get in shape of course but he could also be suffering from the dreaded coolguyitis.

And most everyone following the league thinks we have one of the worst QB situations.

Yup. And 95% of the others sucked. It should be illeagual to say Tom Brady was a sixth round draft choice.

Because the cast off may well be better? Peterman lasted to the fifth round for a good reason.

Oh. That's really tough to gauge and predict. There are not a lot of good backups in this league. He would likely get picked up by teams willing to keep three QBs on their active roster. But it's surely not a given. There would be a decent chance he passes waivers.

Not if they decide they like Webb and want to sign him and still find Yates in the slobberknocker protocol on the Saturday before the season.
