  1. He got great coaching in GB. I think we would have ruined him. We had one WR and no running game and crappy line.
  2. Aaron Rodgers very likely would have sucked if he played as a rookie with the Bills. Got his head bashed in and terrible coaching. It's arguable as to whether he would have recovered. If I HAD to guess he would have sucked or been mediocre for three seasons, then we got rid of him and then after his fourth or fifth season his immense talent finally took hold. Somewhat like Steve Young.
  3. The problem with drafting a QB high every year until you find one is you can play them all to find out, you can't even give them enough reps in practice. The only way it works is I find you totally strike lightning like Russell Wilson who wows you right from the start and then is very good if not great right off the bat. And the Seahags didn't need to take one every year they just had to take the right one.
  4. Funny. This is exactly my list.
  5. What's not known is that he has an amazing crossover ankle breaking dribble, can hit and throw the curve, and is excellent on breakout transition passes right on the tape as well as on the powerplay.
  6. It's understandable but still funny to me how prevalent that is, either way, in the NFL for CBs.
  7. There were several games when Shady was out the running game sucked. Giants. Titans. Jets. Or when he was hurt but still played and he did nothing and no one else did. Dolphins. Another Jet game. Can't remember others
  8. Yup. I really liked him. I would have matched the offer. I did think he didn't do much in the games he started for Shady in the first year either though.
  9. Gilislee did nothing in that Miami game.

  11. I'll bet you any amount of money a team can put in a waiver claim and then pull it before the player is awarded.
  12. But you don't know when they made the claims or if they made one then pulled it or whether something else happened and you don't know the full rules either. And I don't think they would roll with five at all. Keep digging.
  13. My glass is almost always half full for two reasons: I drink a lot very fast, and reorder before I'm done.
  14. You said something unproven then provided a link that didn't address your point in any way. So a couple people called you out on it.
  15. True. But since TT is in the last stage before being cleared, it could be at any time. Taking first first team reps on Tuesday, and saying on Twitter just now he's happy to be back and it's game week just makes it all the more likely
  16. Me thinks he be playing. https://twitter.com/tyrodtaylor/status/904785914219638792
  17. I watched every play. He did a few things very good. But he wasnt even very good in preseason. At all. He didn't do well against a rush. He didnt get the ball down field at all. He threw a bunch of very nice balls and a bunch of crappy ones. He didn't go through progressions often. He didn't put up points. He didn't show adequate arm strength which was reason he went in fifth. I liked what I saw a lot. He had two INTs dropped. But he didn't in any way show he was ready. He showed that he is good at making quick decisions with a quick release and pretty good accuracy on passes 15 yards and under. That's it.
  18. After listening to McD in the press confence I don't necessarily think he lost the competition. I think the Bills overemphasize the ST emphasis and just decided that even though JWill may have been a slightly better back up RB, since they have Tolbert and a decent Banyard and Taiwan, they just made a tough choice. I think if you asked McD off the record who he thought was a better flat out RB he would say Williams. I don't personally agree with that philosophy, although I liked what I saw out of Banyard, too.
  19. Right now it looks to me as if Tyrod is starting. He practiced today. He will practice tomorrow when they put the game plan in. I imagine that the Bills will keep it as close to the vest as they can to mess with the Jets the ever so slight advantage that would give.
  20. I didn't for awhile and then I did and did again for a few days but then didn't until the new guys did that one thing and then I really did but when they did that other thing I kinda didn't for a long time but then I did and when I heard about that one guy and the thing I really did but then someone convinced me I shouldn't until I felt like killing that dude so I didn't and then I don't know why but I did and not I think we both know what I'm talk about when I say kinda but not really.
  21. All those thinking Peterman is ready to start an NFL regular season game or is better right now than a healthy Tyrod should be required by law to go into the concussion protocol.
  22. Sorry but that link and article said nothing about what we were talking about.
  23. I don't think you have to take the waiver claim. Otherwise teams would never be able to put in two to try to get one position filled. The league advises the teams that they won the waiver claim but I'm pretty sure the team can say we just filled the position and then the league goes on to the next team. I'm not positive of it but that's how I understand it.
