  1. Even watching it again on replay, I agree that his knee was down when Kyle hit him, but, he didn't have possession of the ball. The ball was on the ground and he had one hand on it, not even gripping it. That's not possession.
  2. Yeah, a lot of times they had Lorax with his hand down as the fourth rusher.
  3. He had 34, which was the least of the starting four. McD did it just to keep them fresh and said he thought Dareus played a good game.
  4. I noticed, however, that even you in your misguided criticism, didn't use Kyle and overrated in the same sentence.
  5. It would be a good drinking game if anyone could ever remember who won it.
  6. No, it's ridiculous to say McG outperformed Shady.
  7. I would bet anything that Gilislee himself doesn't think he outperformed Shady. You're the only one. And don't point out his average per carry because you poo-poo'd Spillers 5 yard average per carry for years.
  8. No culture change.https://mobile.twitter.com/WatchStadium/status/907025925266595840/video/1
  9. Yup. It took a left turn at Albuquerque.
  10. I thought he should have caught it, too. But more importantly, what constitutes "a drop" varies widely from fan to fan. Plus, and you pointed out both of these, the angle you see the replay has a huge influence on whether you think it was a drop or not. Sometimes it looks like a clear drop and the fourth angle shows the DB got a fingernail on it that changed the trajectory of the ball and made it way harder to catch.
  11. There were reports, and pics, of at least two blowjobs at the opener yesterday. One inside and one outside of the stadium. So it's been verified, at least some Bills fans suck, as well as being idiots.
  12. No need to get deep or argue about anything. Just some observations or strange occurrences that you saw or thought or read somewhere. I just read that Joe Webb tied for the most special teams snaps, 20, with Matt Milano and Joe Banyard. Thought that was kinda crazy and kinda cool.
  13. I didnt mean you. Just a bunch of whiny bitches.
  14. One thing we don't know is what the ownership really thinks about Bowles as a coach. It would seem completely heinous to gut the team, tell him not to win (the tank is on) and then fire him at the end of the brutal season. Not that he has looked that great of a coach, but still...
  15. Thanks for this. I liked it before and it's a very valuable addition to the conversation. With two games on MNF and one cancellation, there were 20% of the league not playing. You should probably do a recalculation after tonight's games.
  16. More like... T - trash H - hyperbole I - instigate N - non comprende K - killjoy
  17. About 10th rated passer in the league running a top,ten scoring offense?
  18. It's often both interesting and informative to read the opposing team's writeups after the game to get an outside perspective. I read about six of them and whenever they talked about the Bills they said the Jets had no answers for controlling Shady or Tyrod. They always seemed to mention Taylor in addition to McCoy.
  19. Peterman did not show going through more than two progressions. He did not show any ability when there was a strong rush. He did not show any throwing with anticipation before the cut on anything over about 10 yards. People gave him credit for things he never did.
  20. If you're going to make up something that is negative, you kinda have to be upset about it, too. That goes without saying. It would just be weird to make up something negative and then be okay with it.
  21. One thing I very much liked was that the plays were called quickly by Dennison, the players were lined up and didn't look confused. We didn't have a lot of motion or shifts, which helped that, but the play clock rarely if ever ran down, we didn't have to call us unnecessary timeout because we were unorganized. That was a huge relief. Same on defense. It's much simpler so it's much simpler to call and run. But it was a pleasure to see the players lined up and ready to play before the ball was snapped. Of course, the Jets were awful, they didn't hurry up at all, they had no exotic offense or defense so that made it easier. But the team was prepared and the coaches got the calls in on time.
  22. Yep. You can't ask TT to do things that the coaches don't ask him to do. It was very clear they were playing this game very conservatively. It was very clear they didn't want to force the ball downfield. Very clear they didn't respect the Jets offense so they weren't going to need to put up 30. And when the game went as planned, they curled up into a ball in the fourth quarter. He did what they asked him to. There are a lot of games they will ask more of him and we will see if he does it or not.
  23. I also feel strongly that Kyle Williams and rutabaga should not be in the same sentence. There may be others.
  24. I think it also must be considered that TT just got out of the concussion protocol, played very sparingly in preseason, and had extremely little time in the off season with his top three WR targets, which matters. And the coaches clearly were playing the game and calling the plays to be conservative. He played well.
  25. Sammy scores on that Matthews play. Just sayin.'
