Yeah I saw the doc on some music channel. It's like an hour long. Maybe an hour and a half. Not sure where to find it. It's called Amy Winehouse - One Shining Night. This little church in this tiny town in Ireland once a year convinces some singer to come play there. In the church. It only fits like 50 people. And she decided to accept their offer. It's really cool.

I was hired to write a project on the 27 Club last year and had to do a schit ton of research. Amy Winehouse was the only one I didn't know much about and immediately I was completely enamored. What an amazing talent. Crazy person but her voice and songwriting were insane. When she got her first introduction to music people, she was about 15 and one of her friends asked her to record a demo, a duet with him, for some A&R guys. They listened to it and called him up and asked who the old black woman was he did the duet with. Ha. A lot of people have such a distorted viewpoint of her.

Great doc. That place is about a mile from me. Grohl is such a great guy.

In the two previous week's he had seven targets and caught all seven. Last night he caught six of seven. I was yelling at the TV to "throw 12 the ball! He'll catch it!" The same way I used to yell "throw 14 the ball!" They started to and he did.

Jared Goff's QB rating after three games is 119+. Which is more likely? Receivers making routes, catches and YAC for him, or Jared Goff just making pass after pass that any WR like Holmes, Matthews and Zay routinely make? Granted the truth is somewhere in the middle. But I think it's pretty obvious these guys were making plays our guys don't make.

Yup. Good post. And for all the Tyrod haters, you know what the best thing that could happen to a 2018 number one pick at QB we are putting our entire franchise's future on? A guy like Sammy Watkins. See Jared Goff.

In every sport in every season the team that wins has two or more star players. There are a limited amount of star players. The Bills have one. Shady. Sammy is a star player. And we traded him for a #2 and a decent corner. We got fleeced.

That was a seriously great game to watch. What fun.

My friends and I were watching the Flutie Hail Mary game between Miami and Boston College. Even without the bomb it was an incredible game. Me and one friend were saying "This is one of the best games ever!" And our other friend says, "It's not the best game ever unless they score on the last play." Then they scored on the last play. Ha.

How ballsy is the SF playcalling at the goal line? Three stuffs from the one and then you run it a fourth time and then score. Then the next time you get stuffed at the one on third and run it up the gut and score again. I don't know any team that would not have thrown one pass in those six calls. I would have. And they scored both times.

It's funny because the plays the two teams are making are terrific NFL plays and efforts. The two toe drags were awesome. The Sammy play was great. A couple of the Garcon catches were terrific.

The Sammy situation to me is exactly the same as the Jason Peters situation. The Bills just didn't want to pay the going rate for a star player who had some questionable elements to his onfield and off the field game. But he was clearly a star, and we just decided not to pay what other teams in the league were surely willing to pay. Jason Peters becomes an All Pro like Sammy is surely going to.

We don't want a meritocracy, we want merit badges.

This is like watching the Bills. They should throw to the 12 guy like we should have thrown to the 14 guy.
