  1. If you would take the time to actually read what Kaepernick is doing and why he is doing it it would be obvious. You will deny its existence of course, which is exactly why I made the thread and poll.
  2. And yet no owner will. None. Zero. What does that tell you? That they support free speech? That they understand there is a race problem in the country? That they are capable of empathy? That they agree with their players and refute you?
  3. If you would be fired for telling your boss to "suck a lemon" I would advise getting a different job. Not that anyone in this scenario are doing anything remotely close to that. I work for myself.
  4. Anyone bitching that players kneeling is unAmerican, or is somehow disgracing the flag by kneeling is unAmerican, or other people that have a different life experience with or opinion on racism is wrong, or who genuinely believe this is a systemic problem is being an idiot. I think anyone can tell their boss to go suck a lemon or twerk through the hallway. You would just be a moron but I doubt anything would happen to you. Sure it's an A or B option. People that believe players can think and believe and say what they want if they don't hurt anyone, which the NFL clearly believes, too. And those that want others to believe only what they believe. It's rather obvious.
  5. Nothing. I think my opinion is right or I wouldn't have it. But I also think I easily could be wrong when provided more valid information. Everyone basically thinks they are right within those parameters.
  6. Yep. He got no holes and no yards in the run game. And yet made about three crucial plays in the pass game that had a direct affect on the win. His wrist is clearly hurt, too. That third down he converted was a bad call, bad pass, he caught it and eluded 2-3 defenders for a crucial first down. Great play and effort.
  7. Based on his terrific college season when he wasn't hurt and his terrific preseason in the NFL when he wasn't hurt.
  8. Right. I do too. So in other words, both the Bills and the Rams thought Gaines was worth a sixth round pick. Read: They didn't know he would be good. As of right now, he's a steal for a sixth. The equivalent of Hughes for Shepard. But no one should act like the Bills thought they were getting an all pro. They thought they were getting a zone defender with some experience and skills they hoped would replicate or better his very decent rookie season. But the Rams clearly didn't value him.
  9. In my experience I have seen just as many maps as globes. Probably more.
  10. Williams probably would have gotten more yards than Tolbert did on the same carries.
  11. McCoy had NO holes to run through. It's not like he missed holes and made bad decisions. He was swarmed as soon as he got the ball almost every time. How anyone could blame the lack of a run game on him is amazing.
  12. Seimien is a decent to good backup in this league but that's only because there aren't a lot of good backups. Tyrod is a much better starter.
  13. Everyone should just make a simple a or b choice. I'll start. I think I am right, but I also think it's more important that other people can have different experiences and ideas. I know that's completely nuts but that's how I feel.
  14. Yeah, he's ninth in the league at 99.23 but at least he has no run game or blocking or receivers.
  15. Okay I was with you until, you started. The run game was of course shut down and Tyrod did win, against a top rated 2-0 team.
  16. Damn was that why I was beat up and almost shot? I will have to try to be more black next time.
  17. Yup. Plus the guys they inherited and kept, Hughes, Dareus, Lawson, Kyle, Brown, Alexander, are all individually driven players (yes even Dareus) and were all hampered last season by an overly complex defense where they were not allowed to do what they do best, just play football. Rex tried to out smart offenses and we suffered tremendously. Our biggest problem we're guys thinking too much, plays getting in too late and players not ready when the ball was snapped. McD and Frazier cut all of that out. It is simple, guys play to their strengths, the calls come in quick, the players don't have to think much, and the results, like the Schwartz defense, are immediately noticeable and significant.
  18. He was best when he rolled out.
  19. Yep. The two trades were made on the same day in concert for obvious reasons. They can be viewed as a single trade. They got rid of Darby a man defender for Gaines a zone defender, who would be better on the Bills, and got rid of Sammy they didn't want (for bad reasons IMO but understandable) in return for Matthews and a second round pick. The sixth rounder means virtually nothing.
  20. I believe that, too. Completely. And it was very smart. There are a lot of corners in the NFL who are good in one scheme, like a man, and not as good in a different, in a zone. Gaines is good in a zone. Nickel Robey they immediately got rid of is better in a man. He has played well on the Rams. Darby was better in a man, that's why they got rid of him and got Gaines instead. That was very clear. Gaines has been very, very good. I was impressed each of the preseason games. He wasn't the reason they traded Sammy, knowing he would be great.
  21. Actually having a good defense has a significant affect on a QBs performance and rating, and Tyrod has benefitted from our defense for sure.
  22. Which is why you don't fake.
  23. The Bills traded Watkins and a 6th rounder for a second rounder and Gaines. Pretty much everyone thought it was the equivalent of Sammy for the 2 and Gaines for for the 6. If you think otherwise, like Gaines was worth a 4th or 3rd, that means you think Beane traded Sammy for a 4th or 5th.
  24. I meant he was poor his second season, last year. He played 11 games. Hard to say how healthy he was. He was pretty good as a rookie. All rookie team not like a top player. Wasn't even their top corner. The Rams surely didn't want to keep him. He was a throwaway in the trade. Basically for a 6th rounder.
  25. Sure, he has a 99 rating, but he has no running game, time, blocking, play calling or wide receivers.
