  1. I heard Paraguay has offered to pay for the wall. To keep Americans in. A lot of people are saying this. We get great ratings from Paraguay. I'll speak more about this and have a big announcement in two weeks.
  2. That's exactly right. But from TT's POV on the play, he sees literally no one covering Zay. No one is within 10 yards of him. So TT thinks I'll just loft it over this onrushing madman and no matter where it goes Zay will be able to get it. But it threw it way to high. Just missed it when the defender was right in his face. If he thought to duck him like he often does then it would have been an easy 25+ yard completion before anyone got near Jones.
  3. LA was making the point that Wilson threw for 373 yards and 4 TDs and the Seahags still lost the game.
  4. That series in general and that story in particular are truly great.
  5. Thank you. That line of reasoning always burns me. Those guys literally kill themselves "to play a kid's game." I doubt more than a few out of every hundred fans that say crap like that could take one hit from a charging linebacker.
  6. Well they had ten in their hands and dropped the ball.
  7. True. But he had so much room for error. I think if you asked Tyrod, even considering the onrushing lineman, he would say I have to hit that pass ten out of ten times. I lean on the side of that play not being an unforced error, and it wasn't easy, it just has to be made every time. So I understand equating that with an unforced error.
  8. EDIT: I just watched it. There was a defender untouched coming right at him. He has to make the pass because Zay was so wide open. But he was being rushed and hurried which caused the bad throw. A quartersecond more time he probably hits it. But it's no excuse. TT has to make that completion. Not sure you would call that an unforced error though.
  9. He was wide open and I think he had to make that play because anything within three yards of Zay and it's a catch. But there was a defender right in Tyrod's face if I recall. And hit him. Which clearly caused the misfire. I'm not sure that is an unforced error. He had SO much wiggle room that I think he HAS to make the pass (and I am just going from drinking memory on this, ha), but I thought a defender was right in Tyrod's face as he threw.
  10. Yep. Good points. And way too early in the Dennison/McD era to know much about the offense. And TT is never going to be anything like Rodgers, obviously, simply because he is much more concerned with protecting the ball.
  11. So we get Agent Orange instead. Awesome.
  12. Ha. That would have been great.
  13. At this point I would be surprised, for sure, if he reached his potential. I did hear from a very valid source, that Marcel was really influenced by Mario, and held him in huge regard as soon as he got to Buffalo, and (this is my reading of what was told me) Mario basically fukked him because Mario became a malcontent and locker room lawyer and Marcel was influenced by all of that nonsense. Surely not an excuse. Surely Mario has been gone for a year and a half. But I could see that happening. I have given Marcel the benefit of the doubt too many times. He clearly needs to clean up his act and game and start to earn that paycheck. But I think that did likely play a part in his lethargic play the last couple years.
  14. Thanks as usual for the awesome threads and work, sir. Seems crazy that on one of the more poor blocking days for the line, TT had one of his best days as a passer. Would obviously seem counterintuitive. I assume it's an aberration. If it's not, TT may just be improving more substantial than most thought.
  15. I know, different era and all that crap, but I just looked it up and added it up, and in the four seasons that the Bills went to the Super Bowl in a row, with their high powered offense, they averaged exactly 24.95 points per game.
  16. Another, closer look at Shady the beat reporter. https://twitter.com/john_wawrow/status/913090071733133312
  17. Really good. David Simon at the top of his game again.
  18. There is an awesome quote that I often tell writers, which has hard to determine origins, but is often attributed to Benjamin Disraeli. The author penned a letter to one of his friends and wrote, "Please excuse the long letter, I didn't have time for a short one." That's one of my favorite quotes.
  19. On second look, you're right. I think he may have put the black thing up in the air, looked at it, got scared and then kinda recoiled in fear.
  20. This forum should put a one month trial moratorium on the "I know you are but what am I defense" that poisons every argument and thread. Just for one month to see if it promotes actual discussion. However many times the what about the Republicans when they did this or what about Obama never adds anything. Ever. Everyone already knows both sides do crazy ass stupid schit. But it's incredibly annoying that everything everyone brings up becomes what about Obama just like it was what about Bush until you tards hijacked this board.
  21. He had a couple excellent plays in the playoffs last year but he's really not that great of a receiver even for a fullback. He averages about one catch every two games for his career for seven yards.
  22. It's impossible to praise all the incredible scenes but that one was so great. On so many levels.
  23. Did you just Rob Johnson to pay Peterman?
