Eagles HC Pederson positive for Covid.
Kelly the Dog replied to Bubba Gump's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It could be that it was easier to have the #2 offensive guy take over and keep the D side intact. Especially with Pederson able to communicate from home. -

Tough break. I assume it’s a 95% chance that Leslie Frazier would be our Duce Staley. Easily makes the most sense. -
Black Lives Matter Messaging at "The Stadium"

The Pegulas should just name it BLM Stadium and have Bills fans donate to a GoFundMe kind of giant wallet with small print that says “BLM” actually stands for “Bills Love Money” That way the vast majority of the public won’t understand, like usual, and all the lefties and righties can benefit and claim moral high ground benefitting their causes. -
Buffalo PD assault older gentleman, leave him to bleed

I believe he has been arrested four times, for protesting torture at Gitmo. But was released each time. He's also a member of the Peace Center, which my mother was one of its most active members for years. There is not a chance they would allow a guy to be a long standing member if he were the inviting violence type. They work against violence. -

There are a bunch of media outlets and right wing conspiracy theorists spreading the lie that Mayor Brown was calling Gugino an agitator and other nasty stuff. He never did. He was talking about a different protestor Myles Carter when he used that language. They don't seem to care. -

I saw that number, too. And approximately 800,000 members of law enforcement in those. It's hard to know what they count and don't count, like, say, FBI offices versus local and state police. I'm in the middle in the Buffalo police/Old Guy argument. He did approach them, he was there to be an activist, but it seems he was advocating staying beyond the curfew, which literally millions of people have been doing across the country. What bothers me, and it doesn't seem to be a topic of conversation at all is, I likely would not have thought much of the shove by the officers if the guy was 35 or 45. BUt he was clearly an old man, which to me clearly makes it different and exponentially more dangerous. Sure, an old guy can cause trouble for the cops so it's not like they should not have been wary. But shoving an old guy versus a more physically stable guy makes a difference. Maybe not in the law, just in the real world. -

Good read, Stuvian. Thanks for sharing that. -
Which Bills player is mostl likely to progress in 2020?

Josh and Knox. -
For such a brilliant guy he sure throws 10x his share of dumb ass passes. You'd think he would know better. Love me some Fitzy though. Also one of my favorite players ever. Don't see how you can possibly say that. He always played the exact same way. So he was trying to protect his stats when he was winning or losing, early or late, against good defenses and bad all sixty minutes? That's just the way he played, a conservative guy who never wanted to throw interceptions. He was risk adverse unless he had guys he thought would get open. When he had Sammy and Harvin and Goodwin he would throw deep because he had confidence in those guys. When they were gone he didn't. I don't think it had anything to do with stats.

This draft becomes an A in the first quarter of the first game when Josh throws a 20 yard bullet on the run to Diggs who takes it to the house.

Rd 5, Pick 167: QB Jake Fromm, Georgia
Kelly the Dog replied to Hapless Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
If you cannot throw an out or a deep out, DCs and DBs can take about 25% of the field away from you, which makes inside the hashes a lot harder to complete. All that is left of the sidelines is a lob over the corner and in front of the safety. Of course, rag arms CAN complete an out or a deep out sporadically, but it's dangerous and often deadly. -

Turk is quite good. Would give Bojo a run. -

I think Mason Rudolph has an RPG compared to Fromm or Barkley. -

It’s possible I’m underestimating his arm strength, and it's merely appalling and embarrassing instead of disqualifying, but I doubt it. He's Barkley and Barkley shouldn't be our backup. -

There was never any question that Brees did not possess adequate arm strength. He just didn't have a strong arm. He was the equivalent of a first round pick though, because there was no question. If there was he would have fallen to the 4-6 like all those guys do. -

The two in arm strength are completely different worlds. Burrow easily has enough arm strength. It's just not a cannon. From is a pop gun. -

I'm thinking this was a gift to McD who loves these guys. McD is the one that loved Peterman and loves Barkley. -

Except he can't make the throws when it's sunny and 80 with a gentle breeze. -

There is a requisite requirement for arm strength in a QB in the NFL that doesn't exist in college. He's Peterman. I hated Peterman from the start and said he doesn't even belong in the league because he simply cannot throw the ball to certain places on the field that get there quick enough. If he HAD even adequate arm strength he would have been picked in the top two rounds. Fromm I mean.
