  1. The DB played way off, didn't react at all, then was slow to turn and chase. That can't be good.
  2. If the Raiders lose this game and are 2-5 and have to go all across the country to play the Bills they could be completely demoralized by then. If they win and just beat KC and are 3-4 they are likely a completely different team and much tougher to beat. Go Chiefs!!
  3. I think some people should have to pay to post here.
  4. That's what I think. The next employer is going to be a sports journalist, too. That person is going to think of course Kim is going to take that job. He or she is thinking, "I would have." It doesn't show much disloyalty.
  5. Which is more likely to catch a pass this week, one hand attached to Jordan Matthews or two hands attached to Zay Jones? I do believe Zay will turn the yips in yippies, but it's taking a long damn time we cannot afford.
  6. Exactly. Any other explanation just seems ridiculous unless there is an actual newsworthy story. Every sports columnist would take that job offer.
  7. Just got back from Vegas to see the OT loss on Tuesday night. A quick report. The game was fun, wild ending obviously. Sucks to lose in OT after that comeback of course. But a good game to see. The new arena is pretty nice. Good viewing arena. It was a sell out. Fairly loud. Bars everywhere. Lotta Sabres fans but a huge number were wearing Golden Knights gear. The arena is right on the strip, tucked between the Monte Carlo and NYNY. A bunch of Vegas style show element to the game, which comes across as a Monty Python skit to me, but the crowd loved it. I think it might work in the city. People seemed excited about having a team, and obviously them winning right away helps a lot. They have a bunch of solid players and good goaltending. For a Tuesday, the city seemed just as busy as it normally is. I'm sure it was down a little because of the incident but they are doing a good job getting it back to normal. There is a huge Vegas Strong local campaign going on to keep civic pride up and it's everywhere, and seems to be working. The airport and general traffic was normal busy, too. Would have been awesome to get out of there with a win but we scored four goals, never gave up, O'Reilly finally had a good game. Kane's goal with 18 seconds left was awesome. It's still possible to have a decent season and make a push.
  8. Anyone going to the Sabres game on Tuesday? I just decided to go.
  9. How do they call the penalty on Blount for his block, and then not call the Panthers defense for that overreaction after the play was over.
  10. In 16 minutes Wentz already has more turnovers, and sacks, and as many bad passes as Tyrod in a game. Just sayin.'
  11. 6 Days in Vegas is way too much. 3 becomes a lot and I go there all the time. Pete Rose was on Home Shopping Network when he was still in a lot of trouble and someone called up and asked if he still had the jersey he got his 4000th hit with. And Rose said, Sure! What size you need?
  12. No coach goes into a game against a team like Cinci with only four CBs. But McD did. And one of those four, Mabin, was a street FA two days before the game. Who does that? McD. What happened? Mabin got that PI. Mabin lost containment on the TD run. Mabin dropped the INT right in his hands. Thats terrible coaching.
  13. He scored two touchdowns, one on a tremendous effort and also made a spectacular catch of a bomb. When he asked for more targets on the Bills he dominated Revis.
  14. You cretins realize that the ONLY game they did the simple and obvious thing that Sammy is asking for, he had six catches and over 100 yards and two touchdowns in an upset win, right?
  15. If it doesnt really matter who he throws to, or if better quarterbacks would be just as good on the Bills, why wouldnt every team every year just pay for guys like we have and take all those millions and spend it on better players at different positions?
  16. Ryan Nuefeld Syndrome.
  17. If you're only concerned with your own production as a WR you try harder to catch every ball. I think even Tyrod last year (it might not have been him) said every huddle a WR says he's open and asks for the ball. That's been a joke around the league for about forty years.
  18. You gave a half a dozen lectures to two college students? You're in high demand!
  19. Not as good as yours on the lecture circuit.
  20. People should watch that 13 min doc when you have time. Its interesting.
  21. People seem to either ignore or forget that the last time he complained about targets, he was not only right, but they threw to him more and he dominated.
  22. I had no problem with them before this week. One of the reasons we were 3-1 was we had very few injuries. My problem was we were 3-1. A very winnable game makes them 4-1 and 3-0 in division. With bye and then a few home games. Very, very good playoff position. But then injuries hit two positions they didnt address at all, one of them CB that was criminal malfeasance. And it dramatically affected playoff chances.
  23. The two long pass plays to Green were both Tre and I have no trouble with him. You just dont leave him alone with Green and no safety help. He got beat twice by savvy vet.
  24. Winning games, gaining confidence, in middle of playoff run is invaluable experience for all the players they do intend to keep. They dont need to mortgage anything to get a couple WR in better than guys we got. Or activating only four CBs when one was only signed two days before the game.
  25. Next man up doesnt work with eunuchs. Everyone knows that.
