  1. Some guys, very few, can get by. Mayfield looks 5'11" to me. That scares me. He's listed at 6'1" but that is the school's listing. I worry his size and limitations make him Colt McCoy. I worry his head makes him Johnny Eightball without the drugs. If McBeane drafts him I will be surprised and then I will be willing to throw my hat in. Because obviously they wouldn't be worried about his 'tude. I don't think they would pull the trigger. He sure is exciting though.
  2. He's always been pretty slow but he was quite good last year overall until he got sick/hurt. He's been horrible this entire year so far. He should regain form but nine games should be more than enough.
  3. Yep. He's been better the last couple games although horrible the first 6-7. Pouliot played decent maybe for the first time. Scandella's best game. Antipin's best game. Kane is so unnerving but that's two games out of the last three he's scored to tie it with two minutes left. Lehner is still weak although his save on the breakaway by Marchand when down 4-1 probably kept us in it. Still waiting for Reinhart to start the season. Power play still sucks.
  4. Down 4-1 in Boston and playing pitiful the Sabres tied it up. Kane late goal again. Two minutes left. Going to OT. O'Reilly in OT. Great win.
  5. In other words, you did meet his weiner.
  6. That it was a very gratuitous tip. The three-word equivalent to "No disrespect, but..." you're thinking of is, "Here comes disrespect."
  7. They won the Falcons game.
  8. No, you said he was good before the Kap fiasco. Nothing about the end. He was bad for five straight years before Kap, and good for two years with Kap.
  9. Apparently, yes. Josh Barnett of the News said that a position became open and she took it, and that he had no problem with it.
  10. Alex Smith was not good at all until his sixth season in San Francisco. Tyrod's first two years here were better than any of Smith's first five seasons in San Francisco. Most fans couldn't believe he was still there.
  11. Jackson has had two long great TD throws dropped in last several minutes.
  12. Im not gay is the three-word equivalent of No disrespect, but...
  13. Lol. I did it myself. Just a joke obviously, and glad you took it that way, but I had a reason to reconsider. Ha.
  14. Agree a lot of the time. But 32m?
  15. Douchebag OReilly paid $32m to some Fox Analyst to settle a sexual harassment suit. Fox knew, and still renewed his contract. That musta been some doozy of harassment to pay 32 million. Ouch. https://www.nytimes.com/2017/10/21/business/media/bill-oreilly-sexual-harassment.html
  16. Good point. Stats are useless without context. I know one of Shadys long runs was negated by a Logan Thomas hold where without the hold McCoy likely gets tackled at the LOS or at the very least it had a direct affect on the play.
  17. No worries. A lot of Bills fans thought he was a malcontent because of the previous years holdout. He wasnt in shape when he came in. Although IIRC we won the couple games he was supposedly not in shape for.
  18. You're wrong. He said he would like to stay. He wanted to be paid the going rate for top LTs. That was 10m. The Bills offered 9, which showed they wanted to keep him. They just weren't willing to pay the going rate. The Eagles were, and to give up high draft picks.
  19. Moulds didnt play because Marv didnt believe in starting rookies. It wasnt really his shortcomings. He should have.
  20. Doubt it. Draft picks are still 50-50 in the first round. Solid tackles are still worth a ton in this league. You could only dream about getting a guy as good as Glenn even with a #1 and I know he was a #2.
  21. Yeah, my bad. I thought when they kept Henderson on the roster, McD was put on PS. These guys love to play around with the roster and often seem to leave the team short on some positions and bloated on others. It was a crime to dress only four CBs against the Bengals and we got burnt bad.
  22. I agree with your analysis of the players, although I think Zay will come around. But totally disagree on Beane and McD having low expectations (or that the low expectations on them) would change their draft thinking. It's possible that is true for someone who has been part of taking over franchises before who later comes here. But not two young guys in their first jobs. You can tell that by their merit badge versus meritocracy approach already. These guys think they have the right idea on how to build a team only becaus they have never done it before. Their expectations are sky high because they haven't failed yet.
