  1. I just looked it up. It was 3rd and 1 like you said. Second play of the second quarter. Pitch to Shady and he got 23 yards. Great blocks from Dawkins and Glenn. And maybe OLeary if I remember. Could have been a WR. Great call and execution though.
  2. It was a pitch and got a first down easily. I can't recall If it was 3rd and 1 but it was a great call and block and easy first down. I couldn't believe they put Dawkins there.
  3. One decision that was very unusual and worked out great was the one play that Incognito got hurt on. They had to decide to play Groy or Dawkins at LG and remarkably, chose Dawkins. I doubt he had played one rep at LG in his career. He pulled, made a great cut block and Shady (I think) got about 10-12 yards running left. I couldn't believe they picked him and then it was a great call.
  4. Not sure about that. He's just dropping balls he should catch. It's just nerves to me. He is getting open. He is usually in the right spot. You don't think too much and then forget to catch the ball (outside of running before catching it which isn't what is happening). He's just dropping balls right in his hands he should catch. The only other thing I see him doing wrong is a few times he didn't track the ball well when it was in the air.
  5. Lol. Yep. Didn't Dirk Dennison star in that Boogie Nights movie or something?
  6. I would say there were four of those nine where Tyrod just threw it away or over his head out of bounds or were not serious targets. Not excusing Zay because I think he dropped another one or two. But a few of those he was the closest guy to the pass when TT was just unloading it.
  7. Don't know why it came up like that to be honest. I typed 0.2. It's still accurate. Or should say I tried to type 0.2
  8. Tyrod is 12th in passer rating. He's tied for least INT (2) with about four others who have thrown a decent amount of passes. His average per attempt is equal to Derek Carr and Prescott and ahead of Stafford and just behind Rodgers, Big Ben and Wilson (00.2 yards behind). And he has no receivers and doesn't count his running.
  9. Is there such a thing as buying futures in plastic tables?
  10. He did it in the Cincinnati game, too, IIRC. Maybe it was the Falcon game. Guy came in unblocked. Tyrod took one step. And the guy went sliding by out of the play. It's pretty remarkable. He masks a lot of deficiencies we have and he doesn't get much credit for it. Fans want Rudolph or Darnold or Rosen to be the franchise QB and they would get murdered with this line.
  11. I have no idea. And how the hell would they possibly get two plays off if there was a crosser? That would be impossible.
  12. McD admitted to it after the game. He said he thought he could get two plays in and made a mistake.
  13. Must've been autocorrect or mistype. I meant shamarko each time.
  14. Great win but let's not celebrate early... https://twitter.com/sportscenter/status/922267703708192768
  15. That is what people were talking about concerning clock management. That play in particular.
  16. Especially because the three yard completion gains you zero.
  17. He should have thrown it away. But McD made that call. He thought we could get two plays off in 12 seconds counting a spike. It was just stupid.
  18. That really could be the answer to almost anything. Why can't we all get along? Shamarko Thomas. Who have you been sleeping with behind my back? Sharmarko Thomas. What do you call that thing that looks kinda like a gekko but has a fin and swims? Sharmarko Thomas. Where is the nearest place to get some taquitos or pinto beans in a can? Shamarko Thomas.
  19. Strange, huh? Why would they do that?
  20. A blurb from CBS sports says teams that turn the ball over three or more times are 3-34 this year so far. JW only was responsible for two of them but as a team they had three, and it's another indication that TT doesn't get the credit he deserves for not turning it over.
  21. Yep. If he kept running it hits him in stride. And a few of Tyrod's incompletions look like perfect bombs for TDs.
  22. I guess it depends on the guy and the gf.
  23. Yup. Before we were letting teams have easy throws and then making the stops when we needed them. We did that the first half and then in the second half we just started getting abused. It was almost inevitable.
  24. Most people don't know this but Zay Jones' great grandfather is Bobby Jones, one of the best golfers who ever lived.
  25. To think we got a number one and Tre was terrific use of a draft pick. I'm not usually a fan of trading down because stars win you games and titles. But he could be a star.
