  1. So all foundations started by players are frauds started by crooks to cheat people not help them. Thanks for clearing that up. I had no idea.
  2. While I agree with that I think their downside started way, way before that, for several reasons within their control and a few out of their control.
  3. I have a feeling this is going to end well.
  4. That post was ONLY in reference to Boyst2Men. Not at all to the overall story.
  5. I already said I agreed with that. You automatically denigrated him as being a fraud with no knowledge of it. He started it out of pocket.
  6. Looks to me like he led with his head, Flacco slid underneath and to his left (Kiko's right) and then Kiko made a conscious decision to drive his shoulder into Flacco's head. That slo-mo last view from behind made me think a lot worse of Kiko. I think he's suspended and fined.
  7. It's a sports talk station. Their job is to have strong opinions that get their listeners to respond emotionally.
  8. Well THAT certainly doesn't help your case. I usually totally agree with the stance you are taking. I think a lot of times the defensive guy doesn't have a chance to let up. I don't know if Kiko was intentionally trying to hurt him. I do think Flacco slid late. I just think he led with his head and shouldn't have.
  9. You keep your head up and don't lead with it when you launch. That's what you do. He led with his head. The only reason his shoulder hit Flacco first was because Flacco slid under him and a tad to the side.
  10. People can't re-evaluate or change their minds after watching a player improve? That means they were lying before?
  11. That's the thing though. This place doesn't exhibit it very often at all. Everyone argues with everyone else about everything. There is never a consensus. There wasn't even a consensus on EJ sucks. But there was about the dirty hit. I even saw your point. Just didn't agree with it.
  12. There are all kinds here. Geniuses and imbeciles. Football savants and thems that don't know the rules. Polite and Bombastic. Old and young. Men and women. Cautious and hair-trigger. When virtually ALL of them gang up on you, like last night, people who never agree with each other, perhaps it's time to look inward.
  13. I'm worried that Poyer is not going to play, which is a huge loss. I hate to be betting our game on a guy named Trae. This could turn out to be a lot like last week though. The Raiders DBs are hurting as bad as ours. We just don't have the playmakers they do. Hopefully our nobodies can match their somebodies like we did last week.
  14. At least he had a reason. Robey's dad, remarkably named Robey, turned out to be a scumbag and I forgot the circumstance but something akin to trying to go after his or the family's money when he hadn't done squat for them. So he added Coleman because it was his mom's maiden name and he wanted to pay tribute to her because she was great. I'm no fan of hyphenated names either. Or the crazy first names for that matter. Why do that to the poor kid. I like conventional names. Like HaHa Clinton-Dix. Oh, wait. Amazingly, his real name is HaSean Theshon Clinton-Dix. He should legally change his name to Joe Smith.
  15. Who put up 27 points and 475 yards?
  16. People often mistake historical for hysterical. Like "Very ignorant choice of words from this thread title selected when considering historical use of the word 'oppression.'"
  17. What's your stance on the reds, browns, yellows and greens?
  18. He drafts and signs no name big offensive linemen pretty much every year few people ever heard of and they play great, keeping guys off Brady and allowing him to do his thing. He hires great assistant coaches to carry out his sinister schemes and game plans. He hates fumbles so he most often signs guys that don't fumble (and then as a coach he benches them if they do) so the Pats don't fumble nearly as much as other teams usually do, and please don't anyone cite debunked stupid deflategate fumble nonsense. He makes a lot of little moves that keep that team at the top of the heap.
  19. I'm a Tyrod fan and I would have guessed about four fumbles. I went back to the post you quoted and edited it, saying he doesn't fumble a lot but there have been a few. With the rush he gets, it's pretty amazing that he has only lost two fumbles. Thanks for that.
  20. If he is going to include rushing TDs in his TD numbers, which he did and should, he must also include fumble numbers in his INT/turnovers, which he didn't and should. He doesn't fumble very much but there have been a few.
  21. True. This happened in preseason. They can cut him in preseason, he can walk away. Players get game checks in season. If he quit in the middle of the season he wouldn't get game checks. You guys are such dicks that you just automatically accuse athletes of only caring about money and always stealing. While what you say happens in foundations a lot, there are also a ton of guys who do things for the right reasons. Boldin isn't the kind of guy to be in this for a profit. He started the foundation totally out of pocket. Funded it all. Then some corporations saw good stuff he was doing and jumped in, I assume because of his good name.
  22. And how can we believe you looked into these financials when the one thing you said, it's been around a few years, was wrong. It's been around 13. I saw that it had raised over a million dollars for one thing, and 1.1m for another issue (I will find the link), plus his yearly underprivileged kid even that raises another 100,000 a year, and he andnhis wife have another foundation where they give 10,000 each to four underprivileged kids to go to college each year. Here is link: http://www.ebony.com/news-views/anquan-boldin-giving#axzz4wemqsVXb One of the only things the NFL cares about other than money is their PR and image. While they don't do a good job of it sometimes it's paramount to them. The Payton Award is a big thing.
  23. Guys don't win the Walter Payton Award in the NFL for being frauds. Sorry. I think he made a mistake walking away from the Bills. And people can criticize him for it. He's not a fraud. He's been known as one of the very best guys in the league for years and years. You read about it all the time. The only reason the Bills signed him was that. And then we traded one of the reasons he came here and he didn't make a good decision. He's not a fraud.
  24. I just saw that Miami's football team and their hockey team both played last night and their hockey team outscored their football team by eight.
