  1. Yeah, forgot. Thompson, like Jones, has only returned KO in his pro career.
  2. Jones is the KR but not a PR, or at least he hasn't been before. Micah Hyde has been returning for Bills but more of a punt catcher. Maybe Joe Banyard can return punts, not sure.
  3. I can't spend twenty years on this site and then suddenly, one time, on a random Thursday afternoon, out of nowhere, PREDICT that this is the one time you are going to try to make a point.
  4. While I would love a blowout obviously, a workmanlike solid performance and victory in a game they should take care of business and win may say as much about them as a real team as anything. I would be thrilled with that.
  5. Thanks for that. Wasn't the story that he played a whole game or most of a game with a torn ACL as a freshman? I suppose I could look it up.
  6. Of all the dozens of times I have heard doctors talk about injuries, I have never heard them say that an otherwise healthy player, like Watson, was injured in a non contact drill because his tendons were weakened by normal wear and tear, and then it was almost inevitable that it was going to tear. I have heard them say that with partial tears then full tears are more likely, which seems almost obvious. I do believe players are bigger and strong and likely put bigger stress on these soft tissues. But it doesn't seem like they are expected more now on non contact drills. Doctors would be talking about that all the time.
  7. Agreed. But so many happen without the hit. I doubt his was really weak from hits and the next twist was gonna tear it. Maybe. But that doesn't seem to be how these things happen. I was talking about how many non contact major injuries there are.
  8. I find it amazing that there are so many bad injuries in the NFL in non contact practices. Thursday isn't even the hard practice day. It doesn't seem like the NBA or other sports have nearly as many injuries in practice. Surely the turf has something to do with it, but it happens on grass, too.
  9. Antiryans are like antidotes. You have to get them to build inside your body to get rid of the poison. Ha.
  10. I say dress him and start him. Throw on the first play and look right at him then go to your real designated guy. Keep him in and run on second (unless the down/distance dictates something else). The Jets may have to react and think to themselves WTF, are we going to have to rethink our game plan. And then just sprinkle him in the rest of the game. Ha. I just typed almost the same thing.
  11. History is wrong. I do think we win tonight though.
  12. Not only that but I think the Pegulas were specifically looking for the antiryans after the clown show. And the disciplinarian McDermott stood out. He's been terrific. Great leader. We are all buying in.
  13. I think all of them are gay. The two covering their balls are definitely gay. The one pouting is surely gay. The tall one in the middle looks to have a pinkie ring for crissakes. And the one on the left trying not to look gay is a dead giveaway. Gay gay gay gay gay.
  14. Nobody likes a cheater like that, except the approximately 15 million people in New England and approximately 15 Patriot Apologists here.
  15. If someone would only kidnap Ernie Adams, Belichick may retire tomorrow.
  16. For a while there I thought it was about my dog.
  17. So you think that Dennison used the exact same offense with Trevor Siemien and Joe Flacco and Tyrod Taylor? I don't know about you, but I can't tell the difference between any of them. All exactly the same.
  18. Jackson and Hogan may have the same completion percentage but can't come close to Preston Ridlehuber, who had the same percentage but also a perfect passer rating of 158.3. He threw a 45 yard halfback option for a score to win the game against the Patriots when OJ had a headache in his rookie season. He also recovered the Jet fumble in the endzone for the Raiders to win the Heidi Bowl game.
  19. They threw the same amount of passes in Carrolls last year and Belichick's first. And they always threw a lot with Bledsoe. And they wanted to throw a lot and they gave Bledsoe a 100m contract. And as soon as he went down and Brady was capable of throwing a lot they threw a lot. The Bills on the other hand were a running team out of necessity because they hired Marrone and Rex Ryan, the only two guys in the league that still wanted to be a three yards and a cloud of dust team.
  20. I think the tune-in radio app has all the games. If you need some type of subscription for it (I'm not sure), start an account on Fan Duel and you should be able to get it there.
  21. Actually, football is better because Americans love violence, speed, bombs, war strategy, hitting each other and cheating.
  22. So you're saying that with Drew Bledsoe as the QB in 1999 they were a passing team but in 2000 when he threw 8 less passes and had 7 more completions they were not? And they were not in the years before that?
  23. Except that the Pats had always been a passing team for many years before he started and his first year he just couldn't pass. Then they went back to being a passing team. The Bills were a running team before TT started and have always been a running team since.
