  1. Thanks for the denier POV. Another more rational way to look at it is they thought, we don't have any receivers for him, and if we did we would play better and score more because he's doing pretty damn good without any. So they got DT and he immediately responded. They scratched their chins and thought, hmmm, maybe we are onto something here and got an even better one.
  2. Funny you said both of those. I go to Sarasota fairly often, at least once a year. Go to Casa de Pizza all the time. It's about a mile from where I stay. The Just Pizza was a mile from where I used to stay and it sucked for some reason. The Buffalo Casa de Pizza was by my mother's house, on Elmwood Ave, a block from Bryant Street by the old Children's Hospital. I think I heard it recently shut down but was there for 30-40 years I think. Really great food all around. And Bocce's was always my favorite.
  3. Nonsense. His contract was 724k left for the season.
  4. You can have half your cake and eat it, too. You can't have all of it.
  5. Mmmmm... Honey Bears.
  6. Not sure it's fair to criticize a worst receiving corps ever thread when it could well have been the worst or close to it, and even the GM and HC knew it so they added two new guys, one of which performed better than the earlier guys immediately and one of which is universally regarded as better than all of them.
  7. Explain how you can have your cake and eat it, too?
  8. And now Matthew Weiner, although I always heard he was gay.
  9. I think that is correct but not sure. After week three, the waiver wire goes the inverse of this season. Right now I think they are 30. Before week three, it is inverse of last season, which would have been 32.
  10. And it wouldn't tell you much, other than C is an idiot. The fact that B's would be higher is often just a result of the way the OC designs plays. Tyrod doesn't dump it off all that much even though Shady has the most catches. It's like a QB who throws a lot of WR screens. Their completion percentage goes way up as does (usually) their rating. But some teams use them and others don't. We virtually never do.
  11. I don't think it tells you much. QB A will get pressured and throw it away. QB B will get exact same pressure and dump it off. QB C will get exact same pressure and try to force it.
  12. Apparently, "Character wins championships." Said two people.
  13. I asked that earlier in the week and the response was that he shadows. Not sure though.
  14. Yep and yep. He really had no answers and seemed to be calling the same plays that didnt work, especially in the run game. Although tough to blame Dennison when it seemed like very few of them were ready to play.
  15. Thanks. That proves my point and disproves yours.
  16. Yes. Of course. But they don't apparently count when you say a player doesn't do something but they do. He used to do it to Sammy, too.
  17. I was thinking that with 5 wide, but Shady is such a threat, and there is only so much room in the end zone, that I figured those five would be the most scary. Clay is good though.
  18. The play-calls to Tolbert in the Jet game were insane. What was Dennison thinking?
  19. No, just any game. And you would see QBs getting less immediate pressure than TT and you would see them throwing the ball away a few times a game like he does, which disproves your point I was referencing.
